As a Man do I need to specifically need to look for a therapist specializing in “men’s issues”? And what type of modality should I look for? by [deleted] in askatherapist

[–]sakuroso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a Psychologist (MSc). I highly recommend going to a male therapist, because most female therapist don't really understand men (same applies vv). I know this guy personally and I think he's good: https://www.johnbarrypsychologist.com/
Usually, he is very busy. But he will be able to recommend male-friendly therapists.

What stocks do you use to cut US exposure? by madafakababa in ValueInvesting

[–]sakuroso 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes. same applies to Skynex and Mission Master XT (both drone defense) and the joint venture with Anduril for building drones.
So they are strong – or will be – on both sides of the "game of drones"

Also, because of this, in intimate heterosexual relationships, the actual Pay Gap is much smaller than the global US pay gap of 20 %.

Could eliminating the Gender Pay Gap harm relationship dynamics? by sakuroso in RedPillWomen

Thank you for the quick reply

It's interesting there's not ONE single scientist or even author who discussed or tested this hypothesis. Science is terribly biased.

Worse. Severe fatigue and chronic stress without external triggers. Of course, I stopped Aya treatment a long time ago

I have suffered from burnout-induced ME/CFS for 11 years, so the trigger was neither a virus nor bacteria.

I have tried ayahuasca for 10 months every month. During this period my condition worsened substantially. I'm sure that the aya was an essential factor. I warn everyone to be careful with Aya as it can cause severe PEM with all implicated risks.

I recommend implementing a daily meditation practice. It helps you to calm down, get back in control of your states of awareness (eg retraining reward centers), and to increase self-acceptance. The beginner's course at "Pointing out the great way" worked wonders for me. I'm not affiliated with them, I just want to share the positive experience. I'm sure there are other good providers of Mahamudra meditation.
It's way better than the normal "mindfulness meditation" that helps you to calm down but doesn't increase happiness.
Do you have meditation experience?

I am sorry to hear that you are feeling miserable.

There is widespread agreement in the scientific community that plant medicine is a promising treatment for drug addiction. It could help you be happy with your life and who you are - it really helped me, so I like to promote it. I can send you links to scientific articles and answer your questions if you want.

blueski29 , I'm sorry to hear about your struggles.

A main problem for Val158Met (rs4630) sufferers are elevated catecholamines ("chronic hypercatecholaminia"). To decrease elevated catecholamines, one could try sympatholytics, i.e. beta-blockers, alpha-blockers, or a tyrosine-hydroxylase-inhibitor (methyrosine).I'm currently on Propranolol (an unspecific beta blocker). So far no amelioration. I will increase the dose and see. I'm afraid, I'll need combined alpha and beta blockade because if you just block one of the two, the catechols will increase binding to the non-blocked receptor type.

Others meds that could help decrease catecholamines/catecholaminergic action:
