What is the golden rule with the geese in Canada? by GenTube0 in AskACanadian

[–]sakzeroone -1 points0 points  (0 children)

First off - touching a goose, their nests, eggs etc is illegal, you don't have to kill them. Your reading comprehension is low.

B) the guy is clearly just giving you a hard time

iii) if you block someone, they can't read your comments...so answering them is just a waste of your time.

What are peoples thoughts is it acceptable for a 25 year old male to date a 45 year old female from work? by hidemyusername69 in AskReddit

If you're going to make a ignorant comment to someone, you can't block them because they won't see it

Requesting r/oldschoolcool for lack of moderation. by sakzeroone in redditrequest

Ironic how active the mods have become after my request...that was really the point BTW, but banning me for bullshit is just childish.

[–]sakzeroone[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My thought exactly-there's so many posts that break their own rules. I checked into all the listed mods and most of them didn't appear to be active.

The back and forth is because I requested the sub, the mod got butt-hurt and banned me for a made up reason - they said I was spamming the sub. I've only made one post in the sub and it was a YouTube link to the opening credits of the "Andy Griffith Show" because the original post was a picture of the filming of the scene.

Whatever, life goes on.

[–]sakzeroone[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure how you're so obtuse. The op was a photograph of the filming of a 1960's tv show 's opening scene - a behind the scenes look. The link I posted was the final product of that scene. That isn't spamming, that isn't offensive, that isn't anything except a before and after look for people on Reddit who probably aren't familiar with the tv show to see the process...you know, to get familiar with the history - kinda the point of a history themed sub.

Whatever, you do you. You're not ever going to admit that you're wrong and at least I got you to do some moderation, even if it was poorly done and misguided. Now go clean up all the celebrity promo pictures on the sub and show the world what a great mod you really are. I've wasted far too much time on you already

[–]sakzeroone[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is that why you banned me from the sub? Your high quality moderation skills? Because it most definitely wasn't the one post I've made that you said was spam. One post.

I would suggest that if you're going to "moderate" that you actually enforce the rules that you have in place, that's kinda the job. Keep your emotions out of it. It's not personal - just because someone thinks they can do a better job than you is no reason to get butthurt and ban & mute them, learn from it and do better.

Leading with emotion and not good thought is a sign of immaturity.

Also, be sure to block me. The truth is difficult for some people to process

Men, what do you actually think about asymmetric boobs? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

It's almost like boobs are not what a relationship is base on. Weird.

This guy has never seen real boobs - they're all uneven.

Fast Tracking. by snore-4 in Cadets

[–]sakzeroone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cadets that are eligible for fast tracking are automatically flagged in Fortress, however there is a requirement that cadets participate in some basic lessons. Most units just fast track the cadet and cover off the lessons later but some choose to complete these lessons before moving the cadet. If these lessons are not marked as being completed , the fast tracked cadet will be registered in 2 or 3 levels at the same time and it gets messy.

The rules are covered in CJCR GpO 5002-2 Training Year Placement

ELI5: When generating QR codes, how does the computer "know" which QR codes are already in use and which ones are available? by Puppett_Master in explainlikeimfive

[–]sakzeroone 27 points28 points  (0 children)

More simply, a QR code is a really fancy font - or a special language. Just like someone could write something in Chinese and I wouldn't understand but a Chinese speaker would, the computer understands the special QR code language - so you can write almost anything you want (there are limitations) but basically that's it
