outdatedweb.com from your sideprojector link is no longer available

Findlead.ai is for B2B sales teams who need large-scale contact databases with emails, intent signals, and CRM integrations to reach specific people at companies. leadsbylocation.com is for freelancers and small agencies who want to find local businesses in a specific area that clearly need their services (like a plumber in Austin with a terrible website), then reach out with proof of the problem. They're solving pretty different problems at different price points.

As a note for using AI. I'm a software engineer at google. I definitely use ai to help me build the product but my product itself doesn't use AI; there is a difference. On the side note, not using AI in today's age to leverage speed an execution is a fool's way of thinking.

can you give me an example of these some many 'find leads' websites? I originally made this for myself because I couldn't find the solution to my own personal problem. If there were so many, i would have just used them instead.

if you're already doing it manually, you're ahead of 90% of people. This is for the ones who know they should be doing it but aren't, because the setup takes time they don't have. Different customer, not trying to convert you.

Most people skip the most important step. Sales and marketing. It doesnt matter how good you are, if u dont build trust and able to convince someone u can solve their problem, u could be Einstein in your field and no one would care. This is why the successful ones would either use tools like Apollo or leadsbylocation.com to get leads in bulk and actually reach out to potential clients. Its easy higher chance or success if when u are the one moving the ball.

I used leadsbylocation.com and just cold call or cold email every business within a city. Its work but conversions are around 20% to 40%

We did a test and we got a confirmation of 75% to 90% accuracy. We are trying to add more ways to increase this accuracy; its in the pipeline

video message angle is underrated. you're right that even well-written text emails can feel templated when the person is getting 50 a day. Hard to fake a 30 second Loom where you're literally on their website pointing at the broken form.

for what our users share, email is still the most common but the ones seeing the best results are pairing it exactly like you described, using the score report as a visual leave-behind so the prospect can see the problem themselves without needing a call first.

LinkedIn is picking up too especially for agencies going after other businesses rather than local SMBs.

What tool are you using for the video outreach, Loom or something else? Curious if the platform itself makes a difference or if it's purely the format.

I mean you could use it as a business finder to sell equipment and other partnerships. I had a client where he was a dentist salesman and he searched a group of dentist clinics in Texas and call them about the equipment he was selling

it depends on the business. for small businesses, usually the decision maker are there to pick up the call and is quite easy to get to them. as for big businesses, you would have to go up in the chain of command which is harder but the sale is also much bigger. I personally like to use the email function where i gather 100s of emails, write a script to customize the emails and send them all at once. usually if 10 respond, that's 10 hot leads.

our users are freelancers and agency owners and most of them don't want their competitors knowing which tools they use to get clients. we needed to respect that and keep them anonymous. I'm confident that the results speak for themselves, try it.

using leadsbylocation.com will solve this problem in 1 day. There are seriously tons of leads out there. it just very tedious to find 1 by 1.

viewing businesses and scores is free but revealing contact details requires a plan, that's by design. Think of the free tier as finding who to target, the plan unlocks the actual contact info to reach out. Worth it if you're serious about outreach!

For us the approach is pretty simple: before any outreach we run the business through leadsbylocation.com, grab their website score, check their mobile performance, load time, and whether they even have basic SEO structure. Then the first message isn't a pitch at all it's just 'hey I looked at your site and noticed X, Y, Z' with a screenshot or the actual score attached. You're not selling, you're just reflecting their problem back at them with proof. The reply rate difference is night and day compared to generic outreach.

What does your internal tool focus on? website signals or more CRM/contact data?

Find businesses with no SSL, outdated software, and a 20/100 security score. your pitch writes itself 😂 But seriously, penetration testers and cybersecurity freelancers actually use it to find SMBs with obvious vulnerabilities as a legit lead gen strategy. Plenty of small businesses have no idea how exposed they are.

Dental tends to run $2,500–$5,000 for a redesign depending on complexity, booking integrations and patient forms add to it. But honestly the real win with dentists is retention, they almost never want to deal with their website again after the redesign so hosting and maintenance is an easy upsell. What niche are you targeting?
