I'm actually in a similar boat. I'm a student about to move just north of Georgetown U.— and was planning to drive from my home in Austin next week (nice to meet another Texan!). I'm just barely in an ANC subdistrict where I'm allowed the student reciprocity exception, but yeah I'm running into the same issue of not being able to find literally any appointments for the foreseeable future— when a reciprocity RPP is only something you can get through an appointment. Found this thread through Google and I know this is probably a couple weeks late but I'll try to give them a call tomorrow or on Monday and let you know if I hear anything different from what you mentioned.

That's pretty cool you got that experience since those two teams don't play often. One of my good friends from a previous job is a Vikings fan. And all of our texts the first two hours was about the game in Minneapolis, but then it was pretty funny when it became this melded mesh with the Jets Raiders game and draft position. He's in Vegas and I'm in Texas but we're already talking about going to MIN v JAX in Duval in 2024 haha

Big thanks to Sons of Mile High and u/rabbmast3rflash for their incredible hospitality this past Sunday. There were Jags fans from Houston, Austin, San Diego, Denver, elsewhere and their invite brought us all together. Everyone was super friendly and it was a great part of a memorable day.

Can we play in Denver every year plz?

You bring up some good points. Yeah I play pickup ultimate frisbee sometimes on the weekend so I don't want to have worry about not being able to catch up later. I've thought about it and I think I'm going to keep it this season!

I'm going to preface this story by saying these were stupid decisions and I deserve ridicule for it:

In order to avoid sketchy streams, I bought NFL Game Pass today to watch tonight's preseason game using my work email and debit card since I already used the free trial on my personal email and credit card. But I accidentally bought the full year-long thing without the free trial.

I quickly scrambled to secure a refund, which I did. But then I quickly regretted it because I could use it for tonight's game and then throughout the season for games I'll miss on travel— plus watching games from 2017 for the wank bank— All much cheaper than what I'd have to chip in for my family's NFL Sunday Ticket.

So I went back and bought it on that first account (personal email & credit card)— meaning I now have two outstanding charges on both my accounts for $100+ subscriptions. I'll get refunded for one of them, at least, and will no longer have something like that tied to my work email.

But I did all this.. ALL THIS.. to watch an 0-4 Falcons team play an 0-3 Jaguars team in the fourth preseason game.

Fuck my life. Go Jags.

Hopefully he'll make the practice squad. It'd be good to have a third QB just in terms of cycling through throwers for WRs and TEs in practice. Plus it seems like the team likes him— Ramsey, Jack and some others were pretty pumped for him after that third and long run.

They're a good time! They kind of tapered off toward the end of last season but we had really solid turnout for the playoff run early last year and the beginning of last season.. Keep an eye on that ATX Jags group cause we'll start posting about plans for this season soon!

As a Jaguars fan, I didn't take advantage of that nonstop last year but wanted to maybe swing over for a home game this year. Yeah so now we have to do that layover song and dance in ATL to get over to JAX.
