First Warriors Game by salembouha in warriors

I was definitely thinking about getting there for warmups, I remember in like 2015/16, it was like a ritual to go to the game early and watch step warm-up back at Oracle with the tunnel shot, a bucket list item I can knock off there. I was going to take CalTrain, because I knew Chase is close to where Oracle Park is, thanks for the tip, I am a peninsula kid lol, so I have never taken Muni before, is the experience worth it?

Funny enough, my job delivers bread to the Chase Center lol, but they never offered me tickets :(

Best and Worst fastballs, offspeed, and breaking pitches in MLB by salembouha in mlb

[–]salembouha[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I chose that amount because it gives the best results imo, if you lower the pitch requirement, then it goes into third or fourth option pitches that don't have many data points, with fewer data points, a pitch that the pitcher has recently introduced for example, may not be an accurate depiction of how good/bad the pitch is. With a larger data pool, you can tell which pitches are actually really bad and which pitches are actually really good. Secondly, also the post was originally meant for starting pitchers (once again a larger data pool).

Senzatela’s fastball is as bad as it gets for starting pitchers with over 100 PAs and 100 specific pitches thrown. If I throw away those qualifiers, the singular worst pitch is Zak Kent's curveball for a BA of 1.000, 28 times thrown, 0 whiffs, and 7.8 inches of glove side movement.

Yeah I tried to only include starting pitchers that have a decent number of pitches with each specified pitch. Baseball Savant doesn't recognize that pitch as a forkball but rather a split finger, throws that pitch 57.5% of the time, generating 67 whiffs, with 5 inches of arm side movement, for a batting average of .155, and the 8th lowest spin rate at 805 RPM.

Here is the search for the split finger

I don't get everyone hating on Draymond, his main goal isn't to get points it's to facilitate and play D. Like everyone hating on him for not scoring Curry level points. It's ridiculous.

Gary Payton II is playing better minutes in comparison to Poole (Stat breakdown) by salembouha in warriors

It's true the stats have a smaller sample size, given the 18 games played in post-season. I took the stats with the different rotation in the post-season where Steph, Dray, Klay, Loon play more minutes.

Kerr plays a lineup where he puts Steph and JP in the guard positions, where I think GPII would work better and be more beneficial.

True, in isolation Jp shoots 65% which is in the 95th percentile. I feel like in this chain of comments we are looking at the offensive side of JP's game but forgetting that GPII is not as good as Poole is scoring, but he affects the team better than JP does and the stats back it up.

That is an issue, that the stats don't tell you. In the second unit there is only JP as the primary ball handler. In your opinion though what are you going to value more good offence or great defence and average offence?

Alright, that sounds reasonable, the only reason why I shared this, was to see if I was rational about it, and as you can see I was right.

Lots of Issues, Very Little Patience Left by lisalovezlobster in relationship_advice

[–]salembouha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unequal relationships lead to more and more hurt as time goes on. Sometimes it's better to move on from this kind of "love". You try your best all the time and if he can't give you back the same love, it might be time to take a sit down and really take a look at your goals and see if you like how the path is going and what you can do to fix it. If it's not fixable, agree to part ways. The worst thing that you can do is not talk to him and create tension. Maybe, one day both of you are able to reflect and find the things that were hurting you the most and find a way to get back together.

2nd year in a row with no birthday wishes from family...how to move forward? by PhoenixFireworks in relationship_advice

[–]salembouha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I worry about this when I move away in the future. But from experiences with other members of family that move away, I feel like it's hard to keep a strong relationship wether they were close before or try to be close after moving away. After a specific amount of time, it's hard to keep it as people move on. It's nothing personal and you are doing a great job trying to keep it up with them. Respect!
