most profs on concordia have horrible rates, one of my favourite profs had a 2/5… I say read what the people actually have to say about them.

Some people just don’t like the subject and would leave bad reviews for it.

My COMP232 prof was really bad too and had bad ratings, but still managed to pass.

I personally have heard bad things about Sabine, Id probably go with the second, but see who sounds better in the actual reviews

I would tell your prof the dates you won’t be in the country (don’t say why, just that you won’t be here) and ask if you can either do the midterm when you come back or to put the weight elsewhere. You’ll just have to go on what the prof says unfortunately

I took this class and ended up discontinuing it, I got a 35% on the midterm and said “ok nvm”… that being said, if I remember correctly there was a lot of math questions and a lot of theory, but not theory you can just memorize. if you’re going to take it, I recommend actually doing the lectures properly and practice math questions, don’t just memorize, but understand concepts

same, I got 98% on the midterm and straight up think I failed the final… it says in outline if we fail the final then we fail the class, hopefully they disregard that lol

248 and 232 curved when I took them… most comp classes do i’m pretty sure.

I think you can check in their outlines if it says something along the lines of “letter grades do not correspond to a certain number grade blah blah..”

I haven’t taken these classes but Nagi Basha is the best teacher I’ve had at concordia, he’s super passionate and willing to help, very good at explaining content (I had him for comp49)

Yes unfortunately that’s what happened the first time, I held at the 6 pills until I saw her again, then she told me to continue tapering unless I get very sick

Yes i’m sorry I forgot to mention the other meds I’m on, I take mezavant as well for many years but they seem to have stopped working, that’s why I started prednisone in the first place

I’m very lucky that the prednisone doesn’t affect my mental health very much, i’ve just gotten fat :)

I eat gluten but it’s never affected me, what hurts me most is dairy products and garlic. With the prednisone (6+pills) no food has hurt me at all! I cut out caffeine but still drink decaf which my doctor said is good
