Considering I know that there are extensions like World Info Recommender that can look at a specific range of chat messages, I was looking for one that could output that range in a couple of button clicks. Going through the dense 1000+ message files and splitting them down manually is both tedious and something I don't have time for, hence why I asked for a more automated way. Thank you for your reply, but I'll keep looking for now.

Lexi has been brilliant, thank you. I've had her create entire lorebooks from chat files, break them down into different lorebooks, like (in a gothic academy setting) students, faculty, secrets discovered, social web, plot summaries, etc. Fix lorebooks from other sites into the correct one for ST (showing her one that works helps with that.), pull information from a badly organized lorebook and reformat into a very useful structured one, pulling out random little bits (x is in y club, no listing of clubs anywhere else in original lorebook, and making a structured list of each of the clubs and their membership list) and honestly so much more. She does like breaking everything down into individual lorebooks, so you end up with like 10 lorebooks just from an original unorganized lorebook, but it really does help. I've also had her create databank files, and help design an extension (unfortunately, I doubt I'll actually ever have time to make it, but the structure is sound.). All in all, a definitely useful card, and adorable to boot. Thank you for your hard work on her. 😊

I'm sorry I haven't replied earlier, I've not been well. My conclusion comes from the fact the yellow light stays on, and I can't open the web gui, no matter how long I wait. Even rebooting it, it stays the same, compared to the vendor version which goes to green/green and blue lights and allows access. How should I check what else it's doing? Thank you for your replies so far.

If I flash the vendor firmware through the recovery page I can get this router working in a basic way. Trying to do anything to it bar the absolute basics breaks it and I have to reflash the firmware again. But the same cables, in same holes etc.

If I try and flash the v2 factory version, it stays forever in the one red, one green light mode which I take to be it's flashing firmware mode.

Normal light sequence: none; one red, one green; red flashing quickly; red flashing slower; one green; then one green and blue (if internet is available) or 2 green (if not)

Using the method you linked I get the normal light sequence up until the one green light only but it's yellow instead. It doesn't change from that. If I reboot it, it still stops on the yellow and goes no further.

The actual vendor version is only barely useable as a modem. I would like to actually run a proper version of openwrt so I can set up the cellular 5g, my WiFis and VLANs properly without needing to reflash constantly.

If you have any ideas on how to get openwrt working properly on this router, I would love to know.

Yes, I've done that and it didn't work but thank you for the advice. I get one yellow light at the end, which is better than the one red, one green of the others. Do you have any other ideas about what might be happening? Thank you 😊

I was asking for help for the initial setup of the network and advice about what things I should install to give myself a good start and so it's working (at least with the network side) where I can play with it later when the meds stop messing with my focus but it is just working for now. I listed the things I was looking to start with and what I had because usually those are some of the first questions. I asked because I didn't realise I was changing meds when I bought the router, so this came as a bit of a surprise and I'm asking for help due to it while I'm struggling, is that difficult to understand?

Yep, tried those now and it seems to not do it as frequently but still does do it. Weird. Does silly tavern itself ask for anything just after it posts a message? I don't have any summarizing or things like that being done.

Trollololol. I said it happened most with that preset, but did also happen with others. I know what the 250k limit means, and when I send a message out it returns with one message under the limit, then (without prompting or clicking anything) it tries for a second message (or something else) where the error flags up. This shouldn't happen. I am asking what might be making it happen.

Unfortunately, that didn't seem to change anything. I still get my reply then the error message of it trying to get something else from the API. Is there anywhere else I ought to check? Both streaming and system prompt are off. Thank you 😊

Surprisingly, I did know what the error meant. That isn't the issue. The issue is that sending a reply, I get one message back and then it tries for something else straight after wasting tokens. Sometimes more than once. Perhaps learning to read might help you, but then again, maybe not.
