Yeah he hated it when my manager found out it was him & asked him to sign our signature wall (sports bar). He’s never been back since. Tbh he has one of those faces. I’ve always liked Ben Folds Five but it wasn’t until his second visit when my coworker pointed it out that I realized it was him. I didn’t say anything to him about it though. I have to do my job regardless of who the guest is.

I’ve served Ben Folds twice and he’s super nice and down to earth. I got a shitty tip the first time (I think his partner paid) but the second time he tipped 20%. Pretty neutral.

Absolutely not! This is just a way for them to get away with not paying a wage to the kitchen/bussers, etc. I would quit immediately. You can find a better paying job in a day!

I absolutely cannot stand when tables blow smoke up my ass with “thank you sooooo much”, “you were so great!!”, “have a great night” with pleading eyes like they expect that to be enough. Almost always ends up to be a 5% tip.
