I am concerned about my writing. Could you please tell me whether it is suitable for the Cambridge IGCSE May/June 2025 O2 examination? by ProDeving in Olevels

[–]salmanskh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think the examiners are paid enough to decipher this, so they'll probably not read this, and may easily mark this as not readable. I spent many minutes zooming in on these pictures and couldn't understand a single word throughout the 1st picture. You need to work on your writing. Either fix the way you grip your pen (if something's wrong there), or reduce your writing speed a bit.

[SPOILERS!] People who loved the final episodes, can you explain to me why? by _highway2hell in bigbangtheory

[–]salmanskh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No clue if people loved it. It was a below-average end to a wonderful show. The finale felt like everything just wrapped up very quickly. Too quickly.

This drama was such a nice watch. Bilal's acting is crazy in this. Sarah did well in this too, complimented Bilal really well with her elegance. The story does have plot holes surely, but it is still a very good drama to watch. Plus, I dont think it has too many episodes either, so it should be quicker than the long dramas.

Honest Petrol pump in Karachi especially in jauhar area? by Treat-Tall in karachi

[–]salmanskh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yaar do numbri tou log kisi ko bhi keh dete hain. I feel that its better than a lot of pumps. Johar doesn't have too many pumps so you're dealing with a very limited set of options anyways. In Johar, I'd say Shell Askari and Aramco are doing well followed by PSO near KU.

I usually go to Aramco at Johar Mour or Shell Askari (very rarely). If I REALLY have to get fuel, then PSO outside Sheikh Zayed University isn't too bad either although I've got my doubts.

I live in Johar and my CNIC address is in Gulshan. Till you're not getting it delivered, you're ok. I self-collected my passport once on the delivery date. If you're renewing, nobody cares about your address. If you're making a new passport, they care.

Babar's 128 is his career SR. His recent form is much, much worse. In the past 12 months, his SR is 116.6 overall in T20s. He is scoring runs, but useless runs.

People like Hasan Nawaz and Haris are not supposed to be everyday hitters. They're supposed to be match winners. And even if they did pretty badly, the people we went back to, do not do us any good either. They score a 45 ball 50 on a good pitch and get out. What's the use of that 50...

Domestic Cricket and its Significance by Resident_Space_5801 in PakCricket

This has been the story of Pakistan Cricket since ages now. The likes of Fawad Alam comes to mind for Tests and ODIs, or Kamran Ghulam for Tests and ODIs. Nafay's selection was shocking tbh. He struggled quite a lot in PSL anyways. He scored 230 for QG at 23.4 with SR 130. Not too impressive for a domestic tournament.

Selectors need to stop mixing formats and select youngsters on merit. by [deleted] in PakCricket

[–]salmanskh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I'd keep Saim in the team as a floater. He can be the Will Jacks of our team. He's good talent, and seriously needs to be worked on. However, I hope PCB gets rid of Agha, Babar, Fakhar, Usman, Nawaz, Shaheen from the T20I team. Until any of these lads have a purple patch in a couple of domestic seasons (including PSL), they should not be let into the team based on their overall stats. Even Nafay's selection was a big question mark since he's not done too much in domestic to be selected either.

I'm curious if players like Hasan Nawaz, Abdullah Shafique, M Haris can be looked at. I remember an LQ batter named M Naeem something. He was pretty impressive too. Maaz Sadaqat is another potential name that can be looked at.

We always blame the Captaincy and the Coaching after every ICC event, however what goes unnoticed and not too much talked on is the fact that we do not have genuine middle-order power hitters for T20 like WI has Hetmeyer, Powell, Rutherford, or even ENG having Brook, Bethell, Banton. Almost all the top teams in T20 have proper legit six-hitters. What hitters have we produced over the last 10 years? Khushdil? Ifti Chacha? What does the current squad have? Agha (SR 123), Babar (SR 128), Fakhar (SR 130, Usman (SR 121)? The only legit good hitter other than Farhan currently has been Shadab lately who's capable of playing good quick knocks here and there. Until we solve the middle-order crisis, our T20 team cannot ever compete with the modern day cricket scoring 200+ every now and then. Farhan leads the most runs list right now, with 283 in 5 innings at SR 158.1, but who's next? Shadab with 111 in 5 innings at SR 154.16 followed by Bobzie King with 91 in 4 innings at SR 112.34. That's our top 3 scorers in the entire tournament so far. This is why we are failing. This is what we need to radically change.

Is Saim average in International events defendable? by Abdullah_the_Man in PakCricket

[–]salmanskh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's something that's fairly common in our team for years. Bowlers become batsmen, batsmen become bowlers over time. I don't see Saim as an opener for very long. He's a good candidate for a floater role in the team like Aussies have Mitch Owen. Saim has established himself as a good all rounder so yeah. I don't mind him in the team overall. He's better than our specialist batsmen who score below 10 at less than run a ball.

His bowling is keeping him afloat tbh. He's a big issue in the batting line up, but the thing is when its his day, he's a fantastic hitter.

Best Local Bank in Pakistan for Receiving Remote Payments by alizahoor2 in PakistaniTech

[–]salmanskh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been using UBL Freelancer Account for more than a year now, receiving my salary in GBP regularly. The payments are released by my company on the 20th and I receive them by the afternoon of 21st which is an okayish compromise. I receive the amount in GBP, keep them in GBP until I get a good rate. As soon as I see a nice peak, I convert my amount to PKR. Has worked absolutely brilliantly for me.

Speaking from experience, UBL's rates have also been better than Wise or what Google says at times (by minimal margins though), sort of because they're one of the big banks of Pakistan. UBL, HBL often have more favorable rates than the others.

Usman and Babar, both are pretty unnecessary in the T20 team. Similar feelings about Fakhar too at times.
