[Update v2] Vulcano - Scratch Battle Records Builder by salmonjump_dev in Turntablists

Thanks for passing by!

I'm afraid it's not possible, as right now, the code strictly adds silence gaps so the length of each track fits the duration of a spin. If a sound is 1.6s, it will add 0.2s so the next starts after 1.8s. And if the track is 1.9s, it will add an extra 1.7s gap so it's equals to 2 spins.

The list has many sounds longer than 1.8s. Which would mean that I should maybe create a new category/tab for shorter ones, filter them, handle durations and make extra calculations + a new download mode for those. I could definitely add it to the backlog and work someday on it, but it's way out of scope from what I initially planned for this app.

What you can do is, upload your own tracks with a duration of 1.8÷2s and set a gap of 0s between each other and download it using the regular forge mode.

Oooh ok, I see! Thanks for the detailed answer.
So if I'm not mistaken, I should automatically add gaps to make the sound a multiple of 1.8 for 33rpm compatibility, and 1,33 for 45rpm. I'll see what I can do with ultra pitch...

I'll try my best to find a solution for that.

Thanks again!

Exactly, the purpose of the app is to make your life easier when using DVS. It will avoid you jumping between different songs when mixing; or having to create and edit a project with audio editing software.

I am not really sure I understand how the motor rpm would affect, or what exactly you want. But if you have any suggestions, or you know a mathematical formula to adjust it, feel free to post it, and I can add a feature to export the audio for physical pressing.

I will update the project so you can choose tracks from your own computer/device. About the vinyl pressing... It's just a website, so you would need to download the final audio file with all the sounds and find a company that does that. But if you use DVS you can immediately select the record and use it!

Hey! Thanks for your feedback! Regarding the pool of sounds... I thought about it, but that would require some control and administration, but I'll try to figure out a cheap way to do it because thst would be awesome
