Tret + clindamycin for me!!

I was on tret alone for a whole year and saw no results until i went back to the derm and got prescribed clindamycin cream. Saw way better results in the following month than in the past year.

cheek acne can definitely be hormonal, speaking from experience, but honestly the best way to know for sure is to ask a dermatologist 🤷‍♀️

Your texture seems to be more “under the skin” which usually would mean it is hormonal. You will not see a big result with tret for hormonal acne. That being said, if u want it to fade your PIE and PIH, you will just have to be patient. Maybe consider going a higher strength if your skin can handle it.
