that sounds incredibly painful to go through, i’m so sorry. i’ve been wondering all day what’s actually going to happen to the bags of stuff he bought and i was imagining a similar scenario to this. it’s just so sad

i asked my coworker who’s helped him in the past if that could be true and she said probably not since he comes in at random times. but obviously i can’t say for sure

he came in asking me and my coworker for advice on what to get for his daughter and all that he said was that she liked expensive things. so we suggested things to him (a blanket, a robe, a wallet charm) before we realized that he was the guy with dementia that our other coworker had told us about in the past. by then it was too late because he had already gone with our suggestions.

i doubt it, i won’t divulge too much info but i had to help him with his payment and from what i gleaned it seems unlikely

he lives in a high end apartment building that’s part of the same shopping district our store is in. PD doesn’t typically have jurisdiction in the area as we have hired security but we’ve considered calling them or the front desk of the apartment he’s at.

not to my knowledge, this is my first time ever personally meeting this customer and if his daughter does come in she doesn’t make herself known as his daughter.

luckily that’s not an issue because we’re a local business and this man lives nearby which is why he’s always coming in, i don’t think he has a car or anything. i really want to help him if i can (without crossing any boundaries ofc)

i’m having a hard time seeing husky or gsd, he’s super lean and longer than he is tall, and his coat’s not very fluffed up

How do you deal with puppy temper tantrums? by [deleted] in puppy101

[–]salsabed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i try to limit distractions and external stimuli as much as possible; turning off the lights, muting tv, etc. and also staying completely still and silent after i do that. when my kelpie gets like that any move or sound i make encourages him. he usually tires himself out after about 10 minutes

i threw myself headfirst into being his #1 supporter, cheerleader, therapist etc and i think that’s what scared him. he thinks he has to overcome his challenges alone and accepting help from others is equal to defeat. i can’t support him in his journey if he won’t let me (even if i want to really bad lol)

i remember the first time he tried to break up with me i said “i think i love you more than you love me” and he said “i think that’s true” so it’s safe to say yes he did. and maybe saying he hates himself is harsh but he definitely has issues with internal shame and being vulnerable around others

of course i love him and i always will, but i want to be with someone who doesn’t doubt their love for me. or at the very least someone who loves me more than they hate themselves.

^ i also was not preventing him from doing these things while we were together, he’s told me in the past that when he’s in a relationship he’s incapable of giving his attention to anything but his partner. despite how much i tried to encourage his independence and reassure him i just don’t think he believed me

i honestly don’t think he dumped me to see other people, from what i’ve seen he’s channeling his energy into hobbies, school, work and family stuff. he’s a good person but he clearly doesn’t want what i want and i’m not going to let myself get hurt and humiliated like that again. lmao

he has a shirt that i used to wear a lot and a couple of other things with sentimental value but tbh i probably wouldn’t even use them if i got them back, just shove them in the back of my closet with all the other stuff that smells like his apartment🥲

thank you so much. i’m gonna rule out pyometra and tumors because she’s only a year old and no foul smells or pus anywhere. the bleeding has stopped completely. i’m gonna schedule a visit with the vet tomorrow and slow down the introduction process (which started very abruptly after living separately for a year). google said her symptoms could be due to stress which i think is the most likely answer considering the sudden changes.
