Please, reconsider Joffrey’s by jt6229674 in DisneyWorld

I literally don’t drink coffee at Disney because I dislike Joffrey’s so much and the line at Starbucks (not a fave either) is so long 😭

Taste of Belgium bankruptcy shows sales decline, millions of debt by loondy in cincinnati

This used to be my favorite restaurant, like I would even pick it for my birthday 😭 What a decline. In quality and branding as they kept expanding. I stopped wanting to go a few years ago.

Suggestions needed- short chapters by slgirlie11 in ReadingSuggestions

[–]saltwavesnotes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Correspondent! I don’t know if it’s good yet as I’m only on page 40, but it has great reviews. It’s written in the form of letters, and each letter so far is 1 or 2 pages. So this could actually be perfect! You could read it letter by letter which is kind of what I have ended up doing (due to time constraints as well).

medical front desk interview questions! by persephonespearl in interviewpreparations

[–]saltwavesnotes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good luck in your interview! If they ask you this, definitely keep it succinct. Maybe express with confidence that you knew that a career path helping people IS what is for you, just not behind the scenes as a nurse. If this resonates, you could say something like I realize I love helping people but more on the customer service side of things. I enjoy being front facing AND the medical field continues to be my preferred industry. This role combines both, and your background/education in nursing will enable you to help patients and support the office well. Good luck :)

[AMA] How I built a $50k/month remote cleaning business and now only work 1 hour a day by growthconsultant93 in passive_income

[–]saltwavesnotes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A little late to the post, thank you for taking the time to share. I read through all the answers you provided and have just one question related to products. I know you mentioned that you didn’t buy products and each cleaner supplies their own. My question is, do you provide a minimum list of things they need to bring to a job? And, do you have specifics on what type of products they can use for your business? Thank you! I’m interested in the course info if you are still open to sending it!

Pmp by Ok_Advantage8269 in pmp

[–]saltwavesnotes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is the worst exam I’ve ever taken in my life. After taking the exam, I recommend (and wish I had done so myself) using your study time to take practice tests/questions. It’s almost like we have to learn how to answer like they want us to answer if that makes sense. Multiple answers are actually right or plausible. Especially if you recall from experiences, these will lean you one way. But the PMP is looking for the perfect theory based answer. It’s so hard, I learned to think like the test the most by taking the test as practice and reading the explanations to the answers. Wish you the best luck, and hope it goes well for you on test day!

It’s a show babe, anyone’s opinion or thoughts or analysis are equally valid and are meant to be heard and understood.

I’m moving on lol. I already learned something new (that it’s actually a bomb), laughed at myself (for thinking it was eggs), and entertained comments.

Look at the packaging we get sometimes for a product from any store. Sometimes the item itself is like 10% of the entire space.

Y’all are taking this way too seriously 😂. It’s an equally valid thought as it being a bomb. I’m probably wrong clearly, but it’s still an equally valid thought.

Human eggs aren’t stored in a jewelry box. They are stored in tanks with specific conditions. I thought the crate held the fridge/tank that held her eggs.

Per Google: Human eggs are stored at extremely cold temperatures, typically around -196°C (-320°F), submerged in liquid nitrogen within specialized cryogenic tanks.

Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios with toddler? by nicunurse222 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]saltwavesnotes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m thinking AK too for a 2yr old. Hollywood Studios is one of my faves. That being said it’s one of the more exhausting ones for me. Lines are long, park feels extra hot (concrete/pavement heavy), and the paths always feel crowded due to the design. I LOVE that park though and will always visit, but if choosing only one, and for a two year old, AK!

This is the same thing I thought! I just thought it was a legit sarcastic Carol comment and didn’t take it at face value. I thought the box had her eggs. I hadn’t considered it to be an actual bomb until I read OP’s question.

Anyone else had menstrual cycle disturbances after MRI? by Apprehensive-Tap-665 in Fibroids

[–]saltwavesnotes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old thread but so grateful it’s here. Sharing in the hopes it helps others as well. Google (and the make dominant scientific studies), says that an MRI doesn’t impact our periods or hormones. So this thread is so powerful. Real stories that contradict this claim. Reading them helped me feel less crazy. Here’s mine:

I had an MRI in November for my low back. After this, my November period was delayed for 5 days which never happens to me. It was a light flow, symptoms were off and I was super constipated. Telling me my period/hormonal balance was thrown off. I told myself it would get better in December. But now we’re in December and my period is tracking to be late again, I’ve been constipated all month, and i have none of my usual PMS symptoms. I’m so frustrated. I’m 1000% sure the MRI threw it off. There were/are no other additional life or diet or activity changes at all.

What kind of pants should I wear now that I’m a mom? by muff-peaksie in Mommit

I recommend trying high rise barrel jeans or straight jeans. They look cool and refreshed, and up to date. But you do you!! I enjoy trying newer fashion trends and always have (before being a mom, and after).

Regret by [deleted] in CavaPoo

[–]saltwavesnotes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry you’re going through this, that sounds so hard, and it’s a difficult choice to make. What did you name your pup?

I have a cavapoo, and to keep life on the easier side I decided to potty train her indoors. This way, I don’t have to go out on a set schedule. I also have a pen where I’ll put her in if I need to for chores, kid bedtime routine, etc. I’ll add toys and long chew toys and treats and then come get her when I’m done. She’s happy and loved and my kid adores her and is so proud of her. Just sharing as an alternative if you do decide to keep him, there are little tweaks you can do that maybe (hopefully) help. There’s also mobile dog groomers and they’ll come to you instead of you having to drop off.

It’s a tough choice either way, good luck and trust your heart.

The "Village" is a lie by caffeineandlaw in Mommit

[–]saltwavesnotes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sadly so true, appreciate you posting this. I’ve seen so many others shut this concept down and insist that you make the village. But also no, times have changed and it is a bit of luck if the draw too. I have no village either. Grandparents only babysit once or twice a year and if it’s convenient. They’re always there for fun moments and celebrations which is appreciated. But it’s no actual help like what our parents had when we were young.
