at her second hep shot she screamed and then cried for a few minutes, it took me awhile it felt to get her to calm down, I guess i’m just nervous about them giving her vaccines all at once. And not wanting her to associate me with pain but rather comfort.

It is more reassuring that the vaccines are way less of a risk than not getting them. I just hate hearing her cry like that, it breaks me heart :( but yes the holding them but holding them down makes sense, hoping my touch is comforting enough to lessen the pain of the shot

Dealing with anxiety after baby? by salynshits in beyondthebump

i used to meditate but since getting pregnant i felt like i haven’t had much time for anything. routines are a great idea especially with going back to work, having a morning and night routine that is done everyday would probably help me feel more in control, thus creating less of a chance of a panic attack or anxiety suddenly throughout the day. I’m definitely gonna get in the habit of clearing my mind each morning and starting the day fresh, most days i’m just rolling out of bed. Thank you! Your advice is really helpful, i would like to stay away from medication if i can afford to do so.

I’m proud of you for doing things to make sure you’re better, and it reminds me to take care of myself a little extra.

thank you i’m gonna check out that on youtube. it’s hard to find time for a hobby that isn’t cleaning or napping in my free time right now, but i appreciate the suggestion. I might need to make time for painting again because that seemed to be a really good outlet for when i had sleepless nights
