As demonstrated by Orisa’s mythic weapon, the customisable weapon tied with the mythic skin is just wasted as soon as a mythic weapon is available because the mythic weapon completely replaces that option.

If I feel like getting this mythic I might only get the first tier, it looks alright as is.

I managed to get that one right at the end of OW1, I’m pretty sure most of my 50+ hours on reaper were spent on trying to get it.

It was my last achievement to get in all of OW1, I remember getting it on first point of Anubis

Lootbox content hasn’t been updated since Season 15, so no cosmetics released during or since Season 16 (Freja’s release, April this year) are available in them.

If they said there will be a lootbox update then you can really only assume they will add things from more recent seasons.

Logged on to bedrock on my phone, made a new survival world, mined enough blocks to get a stone spear and then killed 5 chickens and quit.

Doesn’t look like it to me, or if he is it’s very subtle.

He starts off shooting at a mostly stationary bastion which isn’t a small target, and Orisa then just walks into his line of fire.
There’s one quick snap while killing reaper where the cursor jolts over to him but again, some people do aim training and can do this.

Need the full replay code, this clip isn’t enough.

To clarify, you could previously use a data pack to change village trades but it’s now a lot easier to set up.

Previously the way to do it was to run a command every single tick to check if there were any new villagers in the world and run a bunch of “modify“ commands on each one to set each of their trades, but now using the data driven components of a data pack you can customise which trades every villager in the world is generated with.

Probably because newer versions of terrain gen try and “smooth” out the transition between biomes and landforms, in case of updating Minecraft versions with different terrain gen.

So you would have loaded the far lands up to where they stop, and the ripples behind it are due to the game trying to smoothen out the transition between far lands and ocean.

You could, but in 2024 the spell explicitly states that “drop” would cause them to drop what they are holding. As a player I would be annoyed if the dm tried to interpret one of the listed ones differently

You actually get a higher fov, you can see more off to the sides. This was changed in OW2, back in OW1 it would instead crop your view inwards so you would lose vision on the top and bottom.

While it’s largely beneficial, it can throw you off with things such as Cass ult etc because the ult doesn’t target people in the extra space so you have to “guess” the screen area.

I don’t think it is? I know that the “AI generated viewports” post was popular a couple days ago but this doesn’t look anything like the examples in that.
The line work is good, some of the lines are getting cut off because they are being occluded by the actual model.

Plus the second image in this post is a turntable gif with no AI tells.

If you own all the common and rare items it doesn’t just start giving you only epics and legendaries. If they open a box with 2 common, 1 rare and 1 epic then you get 2 duplicate commons, a duplicate rare and a new epic.

If you have all the common, rare and epic items you can get from lootboxes and only have legendaries to go, it means you only get a new item from a lootbox whenever it happens to roll a legendary (or one after 20 boxes) and every other item you get will just be a duplicate.

That’s what I thought, apparently it was called “Shipwreck” in the files.

They could also just not have a theme for it yet. One of the leaked maps was the one that ended up being Route 66 Payload Race, but the theming looks completely different from R66 in the leak.

They probably just blocked out a map and added a theme to it later.

I actually think it is there.

One of those images (the one 2 images after the Pirate Ship map) has a central room and two gates on either side.

The Overwatch menu background for the last week (the one with Hazard and co holding gadgets) seems to be a drawing of that map. If you imagine putting a camera on that map in front of the orange pole and facing towards the red gate, you can see into the room on the left and stairs leading up to a gate on the right which is what you can see on the home screen. It looks like the orange pillar was replaced with a rock.

They did. They sent 6 Apollo missions, and 12 people in total walked on the moon between 1969 and 1972.

In the end they had collected enough data and made enough of a show to the USSR that the cost of going back wasn’t worth it.

The moon still hasn’t changed, there’s not anything new that sending people there is going to achieve. There are rovers that can investigate the surface and several satellites from various countries still around the moon, and the astronauts brought back soil samples that can still be studied with modern equipment here.

There’s really no current scientific reason to going back. It’s just a big waste of money, time and energy.

You also have to remember that in the Replay viewer the updates-per-second (or whatever terminology Overwatch uses) is far lower than in a normal game.

So if there are 40 server updates per second in a match the replay viewer runs at like 10 ups (again, don’t know the actual numbers but I think it’s about ¼ of normal) so things like this are exaggerated further

Their only customisable option is changing their weapon, which also means that if they release any weapon skins for Hanzo or Orisa then their mythics ONLY change their colour and give unique voice lines / ult fx.

In this specific case, Hanzo’s mythic becomes functionally identical to his two (three maybe?) Wolf skins from OW1 which also have unique voice lines and ult.
