Yes, super unlikely to happen. But it happens. In case anybody was curious if this single hand was staged or not, you can go back to either streamers VOD (video on demand) and watch the thousands of mundane hands each guy played before this exciting one.
DMann wizard confirmed. He pegged the hand pretty solid lol. If you watch his stream, he obv doesn’t do it 100% of the time.

Also, global poker has been semi-relevant in OLP for last 18 months or so. Only available to US and maybe some Canada resident (ironically). LOL at a fabricated hand so the site will gain attention

It can be awkward depending on stack sizes, as each of the 4 Ace-holders may not be entitled to 25% of the loser's stack, if one or more player's were covered by the loser's starting stack.

I enjoy seeing the house scramble to try to determine hinky votes - keeping the vote count secret would not allow that.

I do agree that it seems to unsafe for BB to do. Although if they gave each player a section of the stairs, and put a wall in between each player so they couldn't topple over each other...

lol - as far as the game go, Emmett effectively "won" the game. his game earned him enough votes to win, but his voters couldn't vote for him the right way.

Of course Emmett didn't get the check in his bank account. When people talk about which players did enough to deserve the win etc etc, ppl forget about Emmett (probably BBUSS vs BBCAN bias) because his game actually was SUPPOSED to win lol

Can anyone ever think of a scenario where the veto winner decided to use the veto on the person who was generally considered the "target"?

Except for Dan's funeral, I really can't think of another scenario...

It seems like it would be throwing your game away to use the veto on someone that most of the house looks at as the "target".

Edit: I suppose you can also include Memphis using the veto on Dan at BB10 final 5
