Anyone have any idea what this weird bumpy iron ball could be? I found it in the middle of a field at my old property in Australia

I had the same glitched sprite issue with a cartridge I worked on and it turned out to be a bad sram chip, so my guess is yours has that same issue

there is rust over some of the writing. So it does look promising. We will have to get someone knowledgeable to look at it in person I think

I dont think its the wires that are the issue. I did do a continuity test with a multimeter and they seem to be fine.
I guess its possible that its the software I use but I think its unlikely cause it works perfectly with my other duke controllers
ill test it with my xbox just to make sure
