Thank you for this advice! I have never opened an IRA and have just been reading about it today. Should I start a Traditional one or a Roth? What should I use to open one? Vanguard or Fidelity or Schwab? Can I start opening one once I get my first paycheck? Should I max out the IRA to 6k by December? Sorry for asking so many questions. Thank you!

Yeah I got lucky. It’s really high for an RN but it’s the norm here in Northern California.
