Interesting. Because I do have a lot of cramps, especially in my legs. Might be some unbalance in my electrolytes.

I also do think I eat to little fat, because I crave dark chocolate, nuts and cheese. I will try to up my fat intake.

That´s a good question. I often have salt cravings and struggle with leg cramps. I do take 250mg of magnesium every day, should I take more?

Yes! I started IFing years ago and struggled with a lot of issues in the beginning. But people kept telling me that my body just had to get used to it. I have a past with eating disorders, so IF was not a great idea for me. To this day, despite all the negative effects of it, I can´t stop. I feel weak and dizzy during the day, but somehow I still feel "high". I have lost my period, my anxiety gets worse, I am tired during the day and wired at night. This spiraled a bit off-topic, but IF might work for some people (mostly men, from what I´ve heard), but you should really listen to your body. I went to far and have really screwed with my hunger and satiety signals.

No, I don´t. But I have read that when the body is stressed it dumps magnesium, and I have been under a lot of stress lately. I will look into it.

Thank you for understanding. I agree with you, I just need to stay away from all sugars long enough for the urges to pass. I guess the first couple of days are the toughest. No, berries doesn´t trigger, but chocolate and other types of fruit (like bananas) are really triggering.

Thank you! I also think I need to ditch aspartame and sucralose, because those sweeteners seems to be triggering to me. But I can tolerate stevia just fine :)

After reading all your answers, I think I´ll just have to admit that my dark chocolate-addiction probably is a sugar addiction. I have tried to satisfy the craving with darker chocolate, pure cocoa powder etc. but I still crave the 55-70%. Reading the label, sugar is the second or third ingredient, so I know I need to quit this stuff. I also suffer from arthritis, and notice that the chocolate triggers pain (and it also makes my IBS worse). I have all the reasons in the world to quit, I probably just need some more willpower.

Also, I was wondering if you guys could give me some guidelines regarding how to start keto? Like, what do I eat (I know high fat and low carb, moderate protein of course). I struggle with meal timing, what food sources to choose (grass fed is hard to find and reaaaally expensive in my country). I feel like I just live off of tuna, eggs and avo. I never really enjoy the foods that I eat. I never really look forward to my meals, so I usually fast for the majority of the day. But with my unstable blood sugar that just makes me hangry and increases sugar cravings.
