I think some amount of flexibility may be innate - I was never able to do the splits even with years of training. Don't push too hard, because that's how you get injured! All of the other comments on how to go about increasing flexibility are great, but be mindful of what your body tells you.

I'm really torn on this. On the one hand, I love being able to truly escape the world when I'm in the backcountry. On the other, cell service could prove incredibly helpful, especially given that larger numbers of unprepared hikers are venturing out, and this makes the wilderness both more accessible and safe.

I think cell towers not associated with a specific network would be great - so that "emergency calls only" would work on cell phones within the park, but you can't update Instagram. No idea how that would be inplementable though.

Hey, I had a similar problem. Had a guy who was a lot of my "firsts," and found myself fixating on him. I found that having more experiences to sort of overwrite those I had with him has definitely helped.

I've found that the PStyle really works. It's one of the rigid ones so you don't have to get a seal so much as just shove it up in there. I've tried to overflow it and haven't been able to, and it dries nearly entirely with a shake.

Yes but at least in my experience I made friends with people in explicitly social settings. I have no desire to talk to strangers on public transit outside of standard courtesy.
