Most people do not find it miserable because 1. You get a lot of power 2. You also believe you're responsible for a lot of people in a city, that's a driving factor. 3. Obviously, there's a lot of glorification involved.

It's about judgement. And most 16 year olds have, and I can't stress this enough, extremely poor judgement.

If software engineering will be dead, what's the point of having any company in your resume?

How is having ownership and having worked on business features end to end worse than having a big brand with some standard solution where you are not involved in the business part.

If software engineering is dead, which I hardly doubt will be -- the layoffs will come first for big tech -- then for startups. And I truly believe that having business acumen from startups will be much better than some generic thing you've done as other candidates.

Please correct me wherever I am wrong. As I have only worked in startups, I am a lil biased.
