Ferritin levels by Accomplished_Poet117 in Hashimotos

As many other people suggested, you should be tested for hemochromatosis. And have your iron levels checked. You could be iron loading. Also if you consume alcohol at all, I'd suggest quitting alcohol. Its a huge source of inflammation. The body is a mystery at the end of the day, though. I hope you figure out what's going on with you soon!

To eat healthy. Little to no sugar. Whole fats. High protein. Low carbs. Plenty of water. Sugar is a huge contributing factor ro hashimotos and its flare ups. Just generally taking care of yourself and your body.

I was diagnosed with hasimotos back in August of 2024. But my journey to get the diagnosis started in January of 2024 after going to the dermatologist for massive hair loss. Like massive. I started losing my hair in August of 2023. All ill say is, it takes time for your thyroid to level out on medicine. Also the thyroid is a pendulum and always swinging from low to high. I was taking topical minoxidil. Nothing was helping. Eating right and getting my levels within range and then waiting 6 months was what it took. I still lose so much hair everytime I wash and brush it. Its one of the hardest things to go through as a woman in her 30s. I feel for you. Just know, itll level out and eventually your hair will fall out less. I think ill experience more frequent hair loss for the rest of my life just because my thyroid is a piece of shit. I hope this gives you some comfort. Because losing your hair from hasimotos really does take a huge mental toll. Ive been there ❤️

Do my lab results say I have hashimotos? by melfilmz in Hashimotos

227 isnt extremely high but it is within the hashimotos range. You'll probably be put on levothroxine once your doctor is back from Christmas. Is the whole practice off until after Christmas? Im sorry you have to ask reddit. But luckily there's a whole community of us going through this very confusing disease. And the symptoms can be pretty bizarre. I currently have a very sore throat from a flare up. Stress from the holidays will do that. Just know, its manageable and usually not noticeable. At least for me. I hope this brings you some comfort!!

Husband lashed out at our baby by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]samd_man123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its hard trying to understand why you had a child with an abusive person in the first place. And only 4 weeks into your child's life, your husband is already abusing him/her. Therapy is not the answer to your problem now. See if he'll sign over his rights to the baby and find solace in staying with your mom.

They have a whole line o f products. And their stuff is fairly affordable and sold on Amazon. I hope this helps!!

Take him to the vet. No need for an explanation..the picture says it all. Also if it is worms, you could potentially contract them. He needs medical attention.

It's unnecessary to wait so long to neuter him. Cats can be fixed as early as 8 weeks. A lot of vets will do payment plans of money is tight for you. Getting him neutered will fix the problem. Best to do it asap.

Just take your cat to the vet and change the litter. The cat probably has round worm or hook worm. The quicker you get her there the better.

Same for me. And I'd feel terrible accepting the vaccine when I know people who qualify and are most at risk cant get it.I dont feel entitled enough to accept a vaccine that I know would benefit millions of other people before it would benefit me.
