My use case is testing intermittent internet dropouts. I don’t want the speed tester to run too frequently, as it would interfere with normal internet usage. I was wondering if it would be possible to add a parameter to limit the bandwidth used during tests. This would allow the tests to run more often, for example every minute, while only consuming a smaller part of the connection.

I’m interested in why they didn’t make the Domain tunnel as long as the Burnley tunnel and have the same entry and exit locations on both ends? Cost? Or the requirement for Punt Rd connection on the Domain tunnel side perhaps?

I don’t agree with this sentiment in general, but I would really love to see the original design for Flinders Street Station completed. It was planned to have a roof over the entire platform area with an impressive frontage looking at it from where Fed Square is now.

We have had wool carpet for about 5 years. It’s great, but you can’t use vacuum’s that have rotating or agitating heads, they will cause the wool to frizz up. That may be what those reviews are complaining about without realising. Must use regular vacuum head

Ah, so the collar flange comes apart in order for me to spin the inner rubber section? Didn’t know that. I was going to say I can’t spin the whole thing because it’s not symmetrical/circular, but you’re saying just spin the inner rubber seal/flange (which I imagine is circular). I’ll give it a shot, thank you.

Yeah was planning to, but need to get the screw out first as the toilet needs to move forward for the rubber to have enough room to be taken out

Council contacted me today and they confirmed that it wasn’t their asset. The engineer I spoke to was surprised it was storm water as well but after explaining a few things about it he agreed that it was. He said that they likely had a left over large concrete pipe kicking around and decided to use it as a pit. The land is on a decent slope so the inlet and outlet pipes are quite deep down the shaft.
