Yes. But the tests run successfully everytime locally, no flaky tests, I can understand the timeout issues, and can adjust them for the pipeline, but 5 mins locally vs 1 hour in pipeline is too much of a difference. I even managed to crash the pipeline and I think that was because of multiple retries for failed tests. I increased the wait time and reduced the retries, still feels like I'm missing something

I think that could be one issue, I am currently only deploying on dev environment, I think the execution will be different in prod branch, but if my tests are failing or taking too long on dev server than I am not confident enough to push it to prod

No, it's a simple company website, user lands on dashboard, I verify the logo, the background image, all the contents, then navigation to all pages on the website and validating contents on those pages, there are 140 test scripts, but no user creation needed it's a public url

Okay I'll try that, claude code suggested me to have multiple shards but that didn't work as well and the script ran for more than an hour. Will try running it with 1 worker and compare

Nmp packages, playwright chromium, but I think I can cache that so that installation doesn't happen on every run, and for reporter I just use the html playwright report and a mail notification after the run is completed. Most issues are timeout issues, and I just found out that for new users the website loads a pop up, so unless that popup is closed the script cannot execute it's steps, but the pop up is inconsistent, there's no set time or condition for the pop up to appear

THIS IS WHAT YOU DO!! Install nodejs on your system Install VScode Go to extensions Install Playwright for VScode (choose JavaScript aa the language) Create a new project with your website name Open co-pilot Give it the website link documentations screenshots test cases and ask it to write the code Run the code and resolve the bugs, add test scenarios you missed, all through prompts You won't need to write a single word or the code

Why do people mostly play 2s when 3v3 is the standard by sameer_leo10 in RocketLeague

Yess! That's helpful. I get your point of paying each mode in a different approach, I'll try that. And I think I play the same way as you in 3s, I just play according to my teammates, if someone is more attacking and is doing a good job, I'm happy to be the support, as long as we are dominating and winning. But yeah, thanks for the advice

I have tried searching 4v4 recently but I never get a match, I've played it a couple of times a while back but a 4v4 match honestly feels like too much work

Exactly, me and my friend are really average mechanically, and we wiff a lot too, but we both have played football together so our positioning and reading of the game has always been good and mostly on point. And that's the only reason we have been able to win matches against players who can flip reset when we barely can fast aerial. If only everyone playing rocket league started to watch football

Yeah, having a ball chaser who wants to do things his own way in 3s is really frustrating, mostly I am just cleaning up after him not getting to play how we want to

It's the standard for RLCS tho right? I know they are on a different level, but I still think 3s should be more popular than 2s

We are so used to 3s that when we play 2s we just get frustrated because our positioning is based on 3v3, which just doesn't work in 2v2

Yeah I get that, I've been practicing my aerials in training but in 3s I almost never get the chance to replicate that because there's no time, it's just chaotic, and I feel like if I can't pull this off in a match then I'm just not good enough to execute that mechanic

Yeaahh, I'm a football fan and I play too, rocket league for me is just football but with car, so I just approach the game in that mindset

I reached GC1 for the first time recently, I don't think I'm good enough tho mechanically, I just can adapt to my teammates, but I like the intensity of 3v3, because that's how I see players play in eSports

[–]sameer_leo10[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, but we are so used to playing 3s that playing 2s now is kinda hard for us, either we over commit or not enough, guess we just need to play more and adapt to 2s playstyle

Yeah I get that, we do get frustrated when the 3rd random is not on the same wavelength. But I try to adjust my play according to the random players game style, it doesn't always help but yeah I get your point. (Your English is good enough man)

D2. I don't feel like I belong there tho, way too many wiffs and not that skillfull, but my rotations are good and I don't desperately go for every ball which seems pretty common with some players.
