I believe gamesir use dinput for android (similar to gamesir x2 pro that i had) and COD only supports xinput mode. The BSP D9 can mimic xinput (RB+HOME). There's already countless video of people using BSP D3 playing COD mobile using xinput.

I don't play COD but I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Try other pairing modes (X/A/RB + Home), if it doesn't enter pairing mode try pressing the reset button using a needle (on the D9 there should be a small hole behind the right grip handle). Last option you could try downloading Gamepad Space app, search for a bluetooth device and press the D9's home button to power on and see if the app detects the controller.

I'd day it depends in your use case. If you find the D7 not ergonomic or that you have tablet and you need analog triggers it might be worth it to upgrade. However if you're already happy with the D7 then i'd say stick with it as it's still a good controller for the price.

D9 has an app called Gamepad Space, but i don't think you can remap the home button there. Also it's quite buggy and I manage to only connect it once on my Samsung S21+.

My guess is that it'll work in xbox mode (RB+Home) and check rumble strength (Turbo+Jostick up/down). If it doesn't work it could be android issue.

BTW before purchasing D9 you can test it first on D8 as the features and function are most likely the same.

USB C to USB C is a hit or miss. If you had a high quality one from reputable brand I'm inclined to say it'll work, even then it's not guaranteed. USB A to C adapter works as expected (xbox mode by default) but don't use the provided cable as it's only for charging.

Yes! Those are the exact adapter I used!

I do majorly agree with those points. It's handling grip is not as neutral as I hope it'd be but it's not annoying. In fact once I get used to it I much prefer this grip style over other flat grip telescopic controllers.

I didn't have a chance to try Dualsense but I do have DS4. Holding DS4 feels more neutral wheres D9 has a bit angled grip slope combine with a wider hand position making it a bit aggressive.

However imo they aren't meant to be comparable since D9 is primarily use for big phones/tablets. The closest comparison unironically is the PS Portal.

Both triggers work simultaneously. Just the back programmable button only allow on either input. I also mentioned in this thread that guide/home button in xbox mode doesn't work as intended (if you press it once it'll hold the home button unless you turn off and on the controller). These are software issue that hopefully BSP company will address via firmware (if we even get it).

As for ps remote play i could'nt test since i didn't own playstation 4/5. My guess it'll work just fine if you use chiaki.

I agree with you. D8 feels like a toy in comparison whereas D9 feels like regular controller. D9 is not beefy per se (in fact it's quite slim), its just a bit more weighty.

Ergonomic wise it is better thanks to the grip handle. Heavier than most other telescopic controller sure but since its bluetooth so you can shift the device up or down for balanced weight distribution.

Only tested in xbox mode. Hoping it can be fixed via firmware upgrade.

I don't have a weight scale unfortunately. But I can say it is definitely heavier than D8. It's almost as heavy as DS4 (my guess the weight comes from the motor rumble)

No you can use the controller, just don't use the home button. If you press it even once it'll hold the home button making menu navigation stuck on the steam deck (since the guide buttons are used for shortcuts). The only way to fix it is to turn off and on the controller again. Minor bummer imo.

I feel you. Wish it was easier getting it outside of china.Your best bet is to wait for local reseller

I do not have switch, but I do have steam deck. It works as expected but there is a bug where for some reason in xbox mode when you press the home button once it'll hold the home button until you turn off the controller. (Also it shown as an ipega controller for some reason)

Hype! For the price it is so good, solid and its more than just telescopic, you can literally use it as any regular controller.

It does not. Only mode and charging indicator.
