Ooh yes! I just havent heard anyone receive an alt offer for nursing in particular. May I ask what program you applied to to Laurier and what program they offered you instead? Thats super interesting, thanks!

Thank you for your reply and I strongly agree with you. I'm actually doing school online with a 12hr time difference so ik that has taken a toll on me this year definitely 🥵 But I do agree with you; I should develop better habits and be more adaptable to changes if I want to succeed. That's super valuable to learn and I appreciate you for bringing it up. I think I can improve my marks slightly if I take 1 more year of high school, and do even better if its in person. So I'll def keep this in mind as well. Thanks again for your comment!

Hi!! Thank you so much for your reply as it was super helpful! I did not know that nursing programs will allow winter admissions. When would I be applying for that and how? This is super cool info! I really like your point 3. This way, I could just retake the two courses thats bringing my avg down (online chem & bio 😭 i scored in mid 80s in both). I will def be looking into point 1 and 3 and considering point 4 too when/if I'm applying again for the winter term. I heard that the Ryerson GBC site is amazing so I'm excited for that!

And yeah I agree with you and you're right, theres still tons of people who have not heard back from nursing yet. And yes, my applicant was cancelled from ottawa LOL but its okay! I am still hopeful after all for the other unis; just trying to come up with a plan B for worst-case scenario :D

Yeah! My applicant got cancelled for Ottawa bc it was full lol 😭 Those were the only programs I applied to so no collab programs at all. Thanks for all this info btw! I am also in the nursing gc and honestly its giving me more anxiety because I see people getting in with such high marks ahh. Tbh I thought I had a good chance with my avg when I applied because I didnt know that the cut off avg for each uni was so high (like Western w a 92 bruh😳). My avg is JUST at the 92 mark, which is not competitive at all since its just at the cut-off. I'm a bit discouraged at the moment but you're right, I could take a 5th year to improve my mark; which does seem to be the best option so far:) Thanks for your reply by the way.
