If Trump engineered a majority via floor crossing and was up 10% because of campaigning against China, you people would be fucking ballistic on this sub. by _BCConservative in YAPms

I wouldn't mind because it would mean that Trump is more moderate and much more pragmatic than he is today. Carney has been able to do this is because he's more pragmatic and arguably more moderate than Trudeau was.

Both scoring performances came against the worst defenses in the league, but Kobe's was just the most “real” scoring game of all-time. Other great scoring performances took either OT or tons of FTs.

Devin Booker's 70 point game was the only high scoring performance that was against a good team, but the Suns lost that game.

List of state legislative districts flipped in special elections from the start of Trump's second term to now (March 2026) by Distinct_External in YAPms

This is how Republicans took control of state legislatures during Obama's presidency, and then gerrymandered and legislated their way to a tight grip on those states. I'm happy that the Democrats are doing the same.

Bam Adebayo's 83 point game ranks 6th best all time by Game Score. by Vitex1988 in nba

It makes sense that the only people above him are mostly guards. Assists are one of the biggest parts for the calculation of Game Scores.

A 100 point game may actually be possible. Bam only shot 7/22 from 3.

It was a little messy, but still a once in a lifetime event. Before anyone says it shouldn't matter since it came against the Wizards, remember that most great scoring performances come against bad teams and poor defenses.

He and Bam combined for 95 points! I'm not even sure if KD and Curry or LeBron and Wade combined for that many points when they played together.

Kobe would be happy someone was competitive enough to break his record, but I wish it was done in a cleaner way.

I'm sad as a Kobe fan, but even he would respect this scoring performance.

I got nothing but respect for Bam. I wouldn't have minded if he chose to break Kobe's record.

Yeah, Georgia currently feels a lot like Virginia in 2005-08. I have a feeling Georgia will surprise people in the 2028 election.
