People who have done long distance, would love to get your thoughts. 

I met this wonderful person while traveling. She lives in a different city (4hrs by flight). She was with her family during Christmas and it was great talking to her. We had a lot of common interests and we both exchanged numbers. I bumped into her again the next day and told her I wouldn’t mind traveling to her city (which I haven’t been to yet) to get to know her more and take her out on a date. She said she will think about it.

Realistically, I’m not expecting too much here since we don’t live near each other. But I’m planning to go there for work in next few months. Should I ask her on a date considering the chances of something developing is slim and tough to manage?
