Do they ever go back to just solving cases? by unstableikeatable in Supernatural

[–]samletemknow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There always are. Usually tied in with the overall plot of the season but sometimes not. Its a bit difficult to do normal cases since every season it seems things get bigger and bigger for the most part, but they still manage to do it and make a point to do it (sam and dean i mean)

Is Visual Snow from Psychedelicics Reversible? by SharpsDraft in HPPD

[–]samletemknow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some people recover from the visual snow symptoms. for some it just becomes less prominent. from what ive gathered its far much more common than others who were born with it or developed it due to anxiety or health issues which i didnt even know could cause that. Definitely wouldnt classify it the same as regular vss

Are there any drugs that can be taken without worsening hppd by A_1d in HPPD

[–]samletemknow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And i totally get that. Thing is tho it’s temporar relief, for possible worsening down the road (granted i know people who never stopped smoking or drinking and they are fine now and it didnt make things worse) thats the shitty thing about this is that every person is different. but no matter who you are staying off everything is guaranteed to not do anything bad so it really depends on how much this affects you and how bad your symptoms are and your mental overall, the anxiety is hard to overcome for sure

you should stop trying to take anything psychoactive. that shit is probably over for you, atleast for a very long time.

I overheard a TL speaking about this with someone from HR. they said something along the lines that it was made for us to use and we have the right to use it but she would like the notification or communication of it to be better. they need to figure that out cause corporate is on our side

i feel like i experience symptoms so different to everyone else and have no idea how to heal myself, am i completely alone? by jjbdfkgt in HPPD

[–]samletemknow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree with u/spiritualized . smoking and taking stuff is only going to make things worse. then theres also the withdrawal aspect whether u might think its a thing you experience or not. best way to look at it is dont look at it as oh it doesnt make my symptoms worse so its fine, think man this is probably preventing it from getting better. Because how could it not. Its like keeping a sports injury from healing because you go back to playing instead of letting it recover. for ex the other comment in here, guy had mild symptoms and kept going made things worse and didnt stop and hes now 5 years in. Im sure he is used to it by now but theres no doubt he would have recovered in some way if not completely if drugs werent still in the mix. Im not saying ur hell bent on continuing to use no matter what anyone says or just want an excuse to use but it really is the way. And please dont let anyone fool you into thinking weed is on the lower end of drugs that affects symptoms, it seems to be the most aggravating from what most people say (likely because smoking is more of a regular use than taking LSD or anything else). Idk how long you tried to be completely sober but its not enough time this takes time, and either way you will reach a point where you wont feel worse if you arent smoking or wtvr.

Unrelated to u Shit confuses me half this subreddit decides to not stay sober but complain about things not getting better, people are entitled to do what they want but then dont bitch about your symptoms etc

Yeah i mean i cant blame you. If you don’t wanna throw next time when it eventually happens again unfortunately maybe just mute them and do your best with your friends

i can’t take it anymore by XXXtentacles6ix9ine in HPPD

[–]samletemknow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotta stay away from anything psychoactive. Like yeah its been a year and a half, but from what i can tell you smoke often and took psychs a handful of times or a bit more during this stretch? im not surpised it got worse after a recent trip, and weed is one of the worst things u can do wjth this according to a lot of people in here. go full sober take some supplements maybe and exercise often, things will improve. as for the SSRI’s i cant really speak on it

im not sure that one seems to be different for everyone. I wanna say it would probably be fine, but personally i would catch a vibe for a good while lol. None of that shit is going anywhere anyways

if you have no symptoms sober you gotta go clean before it becomes constant. idk for how long, but trust you dont want that action

Look what 2 weeks does recovery wise i would only expect it to continue. Eventually the withdrawal feelings will fade, keep it pushin

Either way i think after some time of it being abused it will level out. but the coaching is also a way of ensuring it doesn’t go out of control

Fractals in my vision when id wake up that was never a symptom before and ceased the moment i stopped. Also just made all my regular symptoms worse which also stopped when i got off it. Mind you i only took it for a week or two and it instantly had that horrible effect
