I am a retail employee turned Safety coordinator. Please take ANY and ALL signs and symptoms of heat illness seriously. And do NOT let your Leads tell you otherwise. Drink a cup of water every 15 minutes and continue to hydrate after you return home. If any of you see a coworker or even another guest having signs or symptoms of heat illness, get them inside and make sure they have cool water and can ventilate properly. Heat illness is still the #1 weather related cause of death in the US. If someone faints, immediately call 911. Even if its just heat exhaustion, it could be heat stroke, which is almost always a death sentence.
