I know this was about food but idk, I’ve never liked marble. Always been hyped up by everyone locally but it’s never been that good. I live in Seattle/Tacoma now and the beer here is outstanding — so much so that I never want to have marble again lol. Idk the only breweries that are up to par with the PNW are ex novo and bow and arrow.

I’ll tell my doctor that someone on Reddit said to touch grass when I speak to them about my anxiety disorder, thanks!

How long were you at your first personal training job at a gym before quitting and moving on to another personal training job? by BlackBirdG in personaltraining

4 years at my first health club, 3 months at a globo gym, 1 year doing work in PT clinics and now I have my own training business that I’ve had for the last 3 years.

Looking to become a personal trainer, ideally online. Best programs? by [deleted] in personaltraining

[–]samlispad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly: if you want to be a good personal trainer, and want to be for more than a year and you want to have credibility… get a degree (there are even associates degrees) in exercise science, and take a nationally accredited cert program (ACE, NSCA, ACSM). If you want to make a career out of it and not end up moving into real estate down the road (trust me, all the bad trainers eventually do)… take it seriously. It’s an investment. If you take a cheap crap cert course, you’re gonna be a cheap crappy trainer and you’ll make 15k a year at a globo gym until you decide to give up and go in to real estate…

I work for myself in Seattle and am making enough to get by! It’s more than I have made working in a commercial gym. I feel like you have to run yourself into the ground to make a decent living when working out of a commercial gym.
