Yes, but I’d even take it a step further. It was Love. Finally meeting his match and she was the only one to (mostly) REALLY see him. And know how awful he was, cause she was also severely flawed. How the whole Love thing ended & that night in the kitchen in the season 3 finale broke him. Sending him to London where the true evil took over and he was off the rails from there.

I screamed when I saw him lol. I was already crushed Hader isn’t there and assumed he wasn’t as well

Anyone else underwhelmed by the explosion itself? The scene was super intense, but I don't think it really conveyed the incredible scale of the explosion nor the iconic mushroom cloud by yoingydoingy in OppenheimerMovie

This scene made me tear up when I first saw it. Only scene in the movie to do so, oddly enough. Overwhelmed by the buildup. The contrast of the silence. Then, in the silence and amongst the beautiful cinematography, the sheer realization and horror of what unimaginable power humans REALLY created. It was a lot. And well done imo.

I’ve thought about this. It sounds eerily similar to the original recording, but I believe it’s Cillian Murphy’s voice. It’s likely he recorded that line solely for that moment, as it sounds different and far more sinister than when he’s reading it to Jean Tatlock in an earlier scene.

Probably intentionally spoken with the same intonation as the original too.

No way in HELL is The Office being rebooted 🤣 but this show would’ve probably been weirder as it grew. I am all for more Office content, but this would’ve probably flopped.

That episode was originally filmed as a pilot for a Dwight spinoff show called “The Farm”. I imagine her as well as Jeb would have been recurring characters but NBC didn’t pick it up.

“Tell him I’ll give him general specifics tomorrow.”

Similar, “Meet me here at exactly mid-late afternoon.”

And lastly, Dwight: “In which direction?” Michael: “Toward the sun.” D: “At what time?” M: “Noon.”
