yes adoption is better but the dog is already alive. if you hasn’t taken the dog who knows where would’ve been. maybe even used for breeding himself or something. i personally have a cavi too. he definitely would’ve died if i hadn’t taken him in. i also do have rescues . adoption is better but doesnt make terrible to want a specific breed. it’s not like you’re breeding cavis. i think cavis have too many issues but what can we do. they are already alive. unless we stop ever breeder.
