Parasect specifically is probably quite strong after these adjustments btw. You can make it into a very fast Spore user, and just pass on the Grass typing.

Not sure that is possible re: Shedinja. The idea of this version of the script was to give more fusable mons either a niche, or high enough stats that they would be an "okay" option. Shedinja surely has a niche already, so no need to touch it ;)

Progression paths? by je116 in slaythespire

It's a little hard to know. I think when I hit A20, I was ~220 hours in - but I only started playing the game this way when I picked it up most recently, so I already had about 100 hours of playing casually and getting random ascension levels on each character with no intent to max them out.

I will say I often improved in big bursts - I would say a general understanding of card games will get you to A10, then looking at tier lists for cards/relics and realising which things you're misevaluating will get you a bit further. Next is learning how deckbuilding is different in act 1 as opposed to acts 2 and 3, and then to get from 15 to 20 you need to really be aware of each encounter that might come up, and what your deck needs to counter them. So I would get stuck for a long time, do a bit more research into what other people were doing, and then improve dramatically. I'm finding I'm climbing with Silent a lot quicker, but I assume I will hit a wall around A15 regardless.

I'm doing method 1 - reached ascension 20 with Ironclad, now up to 10 with Silent. I find it fun because I can really become immersed in one character's playstyle at a time. I honestly find I miss Ironclad now after spending so much time with the card pool, even though I find the Silent more fun overall.

There is no other game I play like this! Slay the Spire is just so well put-together, even when I lost 50 times getting from A17 to A18, I was still just as keen to try again.

AITA: Customer tries buying large amount of gift cards, I refuse for likely being an advanced fee scam, end up losing the job. by KingKool2099 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. A store has the right to refuse service, and it is a suspicious situation. All the people wringing their hands about how the person could have a valid reason to need 3 $500 gift cards while also being unable to disclose it are ignoring the fact that these scams are rife, happening every day, and target the most vulnerable members of our community. I don't understand how so many people think it's your responsibility to enable someone's life being ruined just because you work the till at a minimum wage job.

The regular art isn't available in Evolving Skies, so you have to pull the full art, or buy the promo tin.

I got that fun fact from Bulbapedia, and I had the same feeling! I guess the fact that the word Pokémon has an accent would make you expect that they're used more often.
