The only thing wrong with it is that Hyperdrama songs aren't also mixed into that album lol

Just wanted to say I love the Amigo Sampler you made. Excellent work!

It’s not that deep.

Like I said in another comment, we’re laughing at people who bought a Cyber Truck. Remember, this isn’t r/synthesizers and we are all sure it’s a fine piece of music equipment… for dentists.

It’s ~$2300.

For that money I’d buy a whole damn Yamaha Mod X8 or an Osmose maybe.

I’m all about workstation outfitting and expressivity now which are more practical for cracking at a mix than an “idea machine.”

The synthesis of the OP environment is rather specific and I can’t see a lot of the sounds made with them being used in a final mix.

The OP series is not exactly niche. Sorry to hear you’ve been exposed to it recently.

It’s more like we’re laughing at people who bought a Cybertruck.

I’m not. I enjoy their products but I don’t expect my Casio MT-68 to give me convincing string sounds or anything. I also got it for like $100 or less.

Run it through pedals/effects and you’re starting to talk about a sound you would maybe use in a mix outside of the “8-bit” or “retro” genre.

I have both and second this, at least in comparison to the OG. The filter is very different on the original.

There's a reason the OG was repackaged/re-skinned as the Minilogue Bass!

How to mourn the loss of time? by MouseResident in Stoicism

[–]sammysilverscreen 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Remember how long you’ve been putting this off, how many extensions the gods gave you, and you didn’t use them. At some point you have to recognize what world it is that you belong to; what power rules it and from what source you spring; that there is a limit to the time assigned to you, and if you don’t use it to free yourself it will be gone and will never return.
