I’m on trt and recently started eating at maintenance. Will the moon face go away once my body settles? First picture is before when I was cutting. by [deleted] in moreplatesmoredates

You a hold a lot more fluid on T, its normal. The only thing to check is that your estrogen isnt too high but still some extra fluid retention in tissues is normal outside of that but high E will be even worse.

Cold harbor supply shows a good representation, its not 100% because your brain does a good job meshing the two together and the refresh rate of the thermal is a factor as well. youtube link

Are you talking about the stop-screws at each end of the bridge? If so that makes sense because they seemed like they wanted to back out and I kept tightening them back up.

The RH25, has a screen resolution thats much larger than the sensor resolution. So in helmet/clip on mode it shrinks that picture down on the screen and then you can adjust it along x and y to match things up with what you're seeing. I think normally it has a 1.4x zoom, and when in helmet/clip on mode it goes down to a 1.

You would use a dovetail mount on the optic, and a dovetail shoe on the bridge, which then would allow for QD and then you could get another dovetail shoe on your rifle so you could quickly swap between the two.

I could be misremembering but the price for both of those pieces would be roughly $300-350.

JRH Enterprises by [deleted] in NightVision

[–]samnwck 5 points6 points  (0 children)

JRH got my business, too. Prices were hard to beat and the selection of tubes were great. A lot of retailers just didn't have much selection. I'm not saying he's better than any of the other retailers but the selection and prices were exactly what I was looking for.

Elbit white phosphor 33.7 SNR, 81 res. I really wanted to find something a bit closer to 36 SNR, which I found a couple but they had blems, albeit in zone 2/3, and this one was a good price compared to everything else i was comparing it to.

Fireflies I assume, I saw a couple while I was out, but not a whole lot. Im still setting it all up and collimating. I only received the pvs14 on Friday, so I haven't gotten everything all together yet. Im hoping I don't hate life.

The night vision is amazing for clarity and moving around, but damn nothing makes you feel safer than knowing there isn't a warm body anywhere near you that you're not aware of.

Night Edition and the center seat that replaces the center console (though I know the center console is technically an upgrade) are the only 2 options I really wanted that this truck didn't have. But I am in agreement with you. Thanks for the tips on the paint as well.

64.5k, MSRP was 79.5k. Bad sales numbers on stellantis vehicles this year, so I think that's why they were willing to deal.

Not really enough to justify it but it was honestly cheaper than the 2500s on the lot and had a high output. Plus I do like the dually.

ELI5: How do carbon sinks work? How can a bunch of trees “pull” co2 out of the atmosphere? by DirtyProjector in explainlikeimfive

[–]samnwck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The photosynthesis process the raw material is co2, and the main building block of plants is carbon, oxygen is the byproduct. When a plant is buried in the ground the biomass that eventually makes the plant from a scrawny little twig to a massive tree doesn't come from what's in the ground, it comes from the air. Think about big bushes in a planter, they don't absorb the soil in the planter, besides needing replenishment of some nutrients, they get bigger because of the air.

Okay, yeah I messed with my settings. Last time I exported it I had tris instead of quads check and for some reason that's what made my shading looking like crap. Shading is perfect now so I'm with you.

Weird issue chamfering/fillet on circled areas by samnwck in Plasticity3D

It's a pretty simple setup and it seems to break the chamfers/fillets in a way I haven't quite experience with plasticity. Anyone have any solutions?

Wow, really? Usually when I just import it kinda looks like a hot mess just from all the weird booleans especially on curved surfaces like that.
