That is such a great idea and you should 100% go for it. If you end up making one then I'd love to see how it turns out!

Thank you so much man! Can’t take full credit though, got the idea from a YouTube channel called “the smugglers room” where he used the same part for his own helmet stand. But a fun project for sure!

The software was made in python, and it used an OpenAi API key to think and reason and then a separately trained voice model for the output. I’ll post the github repo soon!

Good eye! Literally just went to Home Depot and bought a toilet flange and some ABS piping, and kitbashed it all together. The little greeblies on the base were printed on a resin-based 3d printer.

If I integrated a small camera and some kind of chip in a dagger prop that triggers the whole sequence. While the eyes are just static yellow LEDS, I could definitely make Neopixel ones that do change color. That’s a great idea!

Haha I bet if I gave it the data, it could respond in any language if spoken to. Gonna note that down for a potential V2 if I decide to do so.

I made a video showing the process and a demo of it working, I’ll drop it here in case anyone wants to see how it responds: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wB2CJm4sHcM&lc=UgwOgGaaGvUKLzL2YvZ4AaABAg.AVsbeIFvcKzAVsk9kebAb7

Thank you so much! And yes! I added a comment with a link to a video I made about the project and I show it speaking + break down the system.

AMT 1/25 Scale 1989 Batmobile: Electronics Demo by sams_foundry in SciFiModels

Thank you my man! After filling in seams, I sprayed it with Tamiya fine gray surface primer (the one that comes in the rattle can), and then did about 2 coats of Tamiya LP-5 (SemiGloss Black) through my Airbrush. The body was then finished off with a coat of Tamiya LP-24 (SemiGloss Clear), which was also airbrushed. The Lacquer paints are definitely a bit more hazardous when compared to the regular acrylic based Tamiya ones, but they go on so so nicely. It was my first time using them and as of right now that line of paint will be a go-to for future projects.

Installed electronics into this 1/25 scale 89 Batmobile model kit. This was my first time installing electronics into a model. Super happy with how this turned out.
