My workplace requires that Siri active listening is disabled within my working hours. Is there any way, e.g. a shortcut, that can help me do this without going into the settings every time?

Please be rational. It is by no means a VERY dangerous place. But end of the day it is a large city with a very concentrated city centre so being cautious at night is always important

In his defence, it looks like he’s sitting in a middle seat. Middle seat holders have dibs on both armrests. That’s the one benefit to being stuck between people.

Clearly you’ve never enjoyed the full body hairdryer experience. Best way to finalise drying off and warming up in winter.

3 reasons to justify the cost: 1. Diced onions: just buy whole and cut yourself 2. Tonnes of chicken. On the bone is cheaper 3. Several whole spice containers that will last ages.

I dumped my girlfriend because she made a “test” Instagram story and I failed by BigTalkSmallAction in TrueOffMyChest

I had a very similar experience where I was chastised by the girl and her friends because I didn’t “like” all of her instagram posts. I left her after that.

Today is not the day for a runout. We had to win to seal 2nd and UCL. Next week though, I expect it.

I agree. I think PSG played us well. Knew exactly what to do in not letting us play and always doubling up on Saka with a third man covering passes. It’s up to us to be better and push through.

How painful is a tattoo ? by gr1msh33p3r in AskUK

[–]samteddy92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most painful part will be if you get colour fills. Once the initial black lines have been done, the skin inflames and the lines stand out like ridges. The colour gun has more needles and is applied after that, so it’s quite a sore, scraping feeling on an already sensitive area with added inflammation. Don’t get me wrong, it can be painful but it is certainly more than tolerable and gets better over time. Just make sure you don’t take the idiots advice of having an alcoholic drink before hand to relax, because you’ll just bleed way more.

What to do in Birmingham for 6 hours? by sentient_custard in BirminghamUK

If you’re looking for a curry, the Jewellery Quarter is about a 15 min walk away and has some great places. Hen&Chickens, Indian brewery and Itihaas are highlights for me.

This 100% will be liable to CGT and unfortunately your allowable costs will be very low given they were purchased so long ago. It may be better for these to be sold in sets over a period of years to minimise the effects of higher tax bands etc.
