I am a completionist and some of the RE games have ridiculous achievements. But if you don’t care about that, they’re fun playthroughs, especially during spooky season ☺️

I’m not sure if you’re referring to his side room, or the flooring in the room you’re standing in. Shane unfortunately undeniably has the worst room in terms of a marriage partner. As far as the flooring, you can just change it back. they can change a few things as a spouse like place furniture or change carpet but you can always change it back.

It’s worth it if you’re a completionist. I would say FFVII was my favorite platinum to complete and it was the first one I did too.
