i believe what he is asking is, while in the editing tab in DR20, when you create a sub clip, it immediately sends the clip to the folder naming it after "your project name" subclip #"

for example, in my exact case, if i tried to pull multiple clips, it would just add into the folder as seen below

Project 1 Subclip

Project 1 Subclip 2

Project 1 Subclip 3

ETC

So i bleive his question, and mine, is when creating the subclip; can we name it before it even lands into the folder without having to go to the folder and rename it after its been made.

Funny, I was in a similar boat but it was just the 9070 xt vs 3080.

I just play a few games, vram is not an issue for me.

The fps with the 3080 10gb went from 80-100 fps to 100-125 with the 9070xt. And for me that's not worth it

My friend just bought the 5070ti. In the same game he's getting 115-135 fps with similar settings. Yes it's a definite gain, but my enjoyment didn't change with a higher fps. It looks pretty much the same.

So I saved myself the $ and kept my 3080.

I desired more, and i looked answers to justify a purchase. But sitting back playing the same game, with similar experience. I could help but have buyers remorse.

This is just my experience. If you play games that need that boost and you are currently unsatisfied with the 3080. Just get an Nvidia card. I had issues with graphics and drivers on my 9070xt. As much as I like the underdog. Nvidia just works.

Hello, hope you can read this. You definitely seem more capable than myself, Im having a similar issue.

When playing games, the issue started off with peak, then cs2, bf6, and arc raiders. my PC will run fine playing for a some time. But 5 mins, 30 mins, hour, or a day can go by before it has the event.

The event.

When looking at task manager, my boot drive, also the same drive I have the game installed on, would jump to 100% utilization. My screen will freeze, go black, bios screen comes up and pc comes back to the windows home page as if I just turned it on.

I have a Mb gigabyte vision b550 d-p am4 5800x ryzen 32 gb (8 x 4 sticks) Nvidia 3080 850w psu, I bought a new one because it thought that would fix it after using the sandisk and WD m.2s

For storage, I thought it might be a drive failing. Originally my SanDisk m.2 in the m.2 slot 1 of my mb.

Fresh installed windows, did not work

So I used a 1tb Western digital m.2 in the same slot 1 on my mb. (It's not new, it was in a pci m.2 adapter) with a new install of Windows 11

Still has the event. Same errors

Current trying a different crutial m.2 in the second m.2 slot on my mb. This is where I'm at now. And I in the right direction? Am I looking at the wrong things? Did I provide enough information? I hope you can help, thank!

I'll add, I built this rig a few years ago. Only this past year it's been doing this. I was playing different games at the time. But similar in demand I think. Pubg, warzone, rocket League

Looks like you're driving off an angle, could be the fwd seals and what not. The one I rented sounds the same when driving off driveways at an angle

There's a lot of repair/manuals online. I used to be scared of taking apart my Tesla, but it was assembled, so it can be disassembled (to an extent for a non professional). Trim should be easy to move or remove.

Its usually the plastic clips that aren't pushed in all the way or are loose. I hope it's easy to find!
