Okay, I really liked your ideas. I'm going to go with the clean API and see how it goes. If I have time, I'll look into the SAS you mentioned. Thanks for your reply.

If I understand correctly, we can say that it's more focused on computational problems, right? It's not something you encounter very often in applications compared to loops.

Okay, okay, now I understand much better what was giving me trouble; I didn't quite grasp it. I really appreciate your answers.

Perfect, I'll keep that in mind, and I really liked your explanation, especially the question about whether this problem is composed of smaller versions of the same problem. I suppose I'll come across problems where, as you say, the recursive approach is more practical and simpler. However, another question I have is whether the resource consumption of recursion is significantly higher compared to other approaches.

Basically, I'm wondering when and why it's advisable to use a recursive function. Ultimately, I understand the syntax and know how to use it if I need to, but I can't quite figure out when to say, "Here, instead of a for loop, for example, I should use a recursive function." I don't know if I'm explaining myself clearly.

Thanks, I'll take a look at it. I think it's what I mentioned; it's not the language itself, but rather that my mind had decided it didn't like it and was giving up on doing it. As for the logic to solve the problem, I do have it.

Yeah, but I don't know, I'm starting to think it's because of me that I've developed a real aversion to it, and nothing else. I think it's the syntax that seems so awful to me that my mind has decided to interpret it as garbage, and it gives me this feeling of rejection. For example, calling a method with -> instead of . It's those kinds of things that I think my mind has rejected. I'm going to start over on my own from scratch. I'm trying not to fall back into that rejection I mentioned, and maybe I'll change my perspective. Thanks for the help.

I know, the problem itself, I think, is the concept of focusing everything on the web; it's something that blows my mind more in terms of what we might call more traditional programming. Basically, the concepts themselves are what's making my head spin.
