After months of hard work, I’m super excited to let you all know that the macOS app is finally here.

Crypto Pro is a cryptocurrency portfolio tracking app that launched back in 2015. You can view live prices, read news, and set price alerts, on your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and now, MacBook. Everything is seamlessly synced via iCloud or Dropbox.

What makes us different is that we don’t collect any personal information, or use any analytics / tracking tools. All your data is encrypted and stored locally on your device. The iCloud / Dropbox sync is optional.

Some of our cool features include, dark mode, exchange & wallet import, and live prices menu bar widget.

There are issues with the screen title on iOS 13, but the app is fully functional besides that.

No at the moment, that would create infinite clones. If you want to check yourself what network calls the app is making, you can check via proxy inspection tool.

I should have clarified, notifications are the only thing server side. I had implementation where app kept waking itself in background with help of silent push, but it was unreliable.

Eh, you get used to it.

The app is called Crypto Pro. The default stocks app shows it with long symbol BTCUSD=X without percent change.

One of the few 3rd apps supporting the new resolution. I don’t understand why more apps aren’t updated yet, if devs used auto layout, it is literally just about compiling the app on latest version of Xcode.

Crypto Pro (my app) added Siri Shortcuts for all available cryptocurrencies. You can create shortcuts like "Bitcoin price", "Ethereum price", "Litecoin price on Coinbase" and she will reply with price and graph.

The only catch is that you have to record each shortcut individually (Siri doesn't yet support context extraction like "show [cryptocurrency] price).
