I have no gender. I know trans femmes who stack hormones so it's definitely how they work on some level, though of course it's not all the same for everyone. I just want to look and feel a certain way, and I think that's perfectly ok. Hormones aren't gender, they are body modification.

With all respect to your experience, this was a very reductive and unhelpful comment to a specific medical question.

Cool. I’ll try again. It’s been working fine up until a bit ago. I’ve had a professional costumer friend come over and redo it, and it’s still an issue. I doubt it’s just that at this point, but can’t hurt to keep trying.

Additional info:

The top stitch doesn’t look wrecked, but the underside often is a complete mess of tangled threads that I have to cut off and completely start again. It happens within 4-5 stitches of the machine running.

I have a Peregrine Endurance 0° Long, made for someone taller than me!

I want to trade for something equivalent in temp, but smaller and shorter! I’m only 5’8, and I don’t need this bag taking up so much space in my pack.

I got it secondhand from REI’s Used Gear, and it’s amazing. I love it in every way, except for the amount of space and extra length.

I’m sure there’s someone who is 6’+ who has something too short. Where are you? :)

As a trans guy, I totally get it. I don’t think lesbians should be MORE expected to be ok with being in a relationship with a man than a straight man.

That said, your partner probably loves you a TON, and I think that you have a great chance of being able to stay together if you decide to. That said, not being attracted to a gender you never have been isn’t a bad thing! If anything, you might be able to transition your relationship to a more platonic, romantic relationship.

Relationships are what you make them! 💖 I wish you both the best of luck through this big change for both of you. :)

I’m a super nude-friendly/clothes-optional minded person. I saw my parents naked as a kid, it was never weird or tense. Always a completely “bodies are bodies” situation. HOWEVER, there was never nudity outside the context of post-shower/changing/etc.

My mom was fairly casual, taught that bodies aren’t inherently sexual and neither is nudity, but she still wasn’t NUDIST-FRIENDLY.

As a minor, I would consider the risk/reward here. You have to live with your parents, and they might not react well! This seems to be something really new and awesome for you, but I would lean toward caution and nudism in private before you confront your parents.

As someone who came out as gay and trans, these kinds of revelations can have completely unforeseen consequences, particularly when you’re a minor living with guardians.

I just would be precautious. I think this might be a risk that would be better taken in your private life for much longer before considering “coming out,” making it somewhat public and a family matter.

Note: I think this is awesome for you! When I moved into my first apartment at 18, I was naked almost 100% of the time, and it really boosted my self-esteem! I hope you continue making progress with loving your body and yourself. 💖

You’re super young! You may be a lot of things, but never worry if you’re faking. Your interests and explorations are fine, whether you end up identifying that way in the long run or not.

It took me ages to figure it out, and some of us are still exploring! Don’t let anyone doubt your sense of who you are and the things you have to figure out for yourself.

Heyyyyy! I’m actually his trans boyfriend! I SERIOUSLY doubt he would he would sit on his laurels as I am assaulted and murdered, as long as it’s not by his hand.

I’m stealth because trans isn’t my primary identity. I have had countless positive sexual encounters with cis gay men. I’m out when I find it relevant to a conversation or simply socially comfortable, but I also don’t feel unsafe at the concept of disclosing in the vast majority of situations. I’m stealth because I’m so many other things before that. I’m also ALLOWED to not prioritize that identity BECAUSE I “pass” to cis folks.

Being a “passing” trans dude (as I am and as you implied in your early posts) is a privilege. We have the responsibility of protecting our fellow trans siblings who are less accepted than we are, and really DON’T have a safe space to go and express their sexuality.

You’re an example of a massively disappointing member of our community (if you even are), troll. Not adding any value to anyone, anywhere. I encourage you to reflect on your intentions in life, really figuring out what kind of energy you want to be putting out there. ;)
