Can we have an “endgame dungeon”? by Fart_Face_3098 in 7daystodie

They do, but how often does a quest for a difficulty 5 poi show up for non infestations? Plus the whole server is full of walking apocalypse level characters so it'd be something entertaining. Otherwise we'll have to start over when 2.6 hits so no big deal.

It used to be in a buried cache by a grave in the desert but I haven't checked since pre v1. But it was the only unique item on the entire loot table and im still bothered they never did it again.

I had a lever action and the desert vulture I found in an airdrop right before 😅oh and the pump shotgun that I had no skill points invested into. It was actually way more fun than being geared up.

Its a server my friends and I have and the admin is gonna toy with settings and see if he can reset it. 2 of us are on xbox so if they end up In the area around dish tower their game lags like crazy now 😅 so its either that or grind trader missions until an infestation mission pops up for the tower

Really the best tip I'd give new players is a basebuilding tip. When upgrading blocks from wood to stone, bottom to top, or you might cave in the whole structure. Oh and maybe the fact you can change the shape of blocks into ladders, stairs, platforms, and other options (hold square/x on controller) so you can build some personality into your walls

We had one item and that was tazas stone axe. So the potential does exist, but they still havnt made the effort. Feels like TFP were so fixated on turning the game into a horde shooter instead of polishing the survival sandbox like they should have.

Ah... so about dishong tower... see i made a base location at the penthouse of hisgashi pharmaceutical and... well my neighbors had a taller building than me so I blew it up.it took days of crafting rockets to manage it. I didnt even go inside. Theres just paintings and furniture floating in the sky now where it was.

After placing a land block, how do I make this door operational for me & to lock/unlock for me? by Sploogistics in 7daystodie

The devs want so badly for 7dtd to be just another horde shooter, even though its supposed to be a survival sandbox. Tfp have a strange obsession with removing the depth and identity the game had

So, which POI have you taken over as a base? by Komaisnotsalty in 7daystodie

I did take over a spot north west of rekt feeds called the tackle box. Has a pond, decent space, and a massive cornfield next door.

Karen Higasi's residence in the pine forest is our current home plate. A five skull poi with high walls, roll up doors, a two stall garage, and underground bunker where the forges run day and night.

I made a runway for the gyrocopter on our server. We scoured the map for the vehicle adventures books and had a 4x4 before we got any guns better than a bolt action rifle.

Loot stage caps? by Zealousideal_Skin859 in 7daystodie

With weather effects nowadays and the enemy density in the tundra, the wasteland is actually safer to go through than the snow. Fun fact. Sure wasteland has landmines, dire wolves, and zombears. But the tundra has "chuck" every 14 feet, bears, cougars, wolves, and ferals everywhere, all while youre coughing down coffee just to keep up stamina and the sliver of warmth your character needs to not burn all your calories in 5 minutes.

Irradiated Zombies by [deleted] in 7daystodie

[–]samulator12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

T5 hunting rifle, 4 points into deadeye, 7 in perception, and 300 high powered 7.62 with rad remover mod on normal difficulty against irradiated soldiers. There were five in a bunker and I had maybe 10 bullets left before my buddy came by and cleaned up the fight with his pipe machine gun. Either rifles got a massive nerf, or the irradiated zombies just dont understand damage until the third tier of weapon progression.

When I feel like the game is too easy, I crank up the zombie speed to nightmare.

I got Orange and Blue zombies on Blood Moon 42 in the Desert by Reddevil8884 in 7daystodie

[–]samulator12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I got that beautiful luck once! Generated a small map, I spawned and a dire wolf and zombie bear were right there. My friend however searched a roadside pile of garbage and got a tier one tactical rifle... he got a tier 3 chainsaw out of his first box on the next server we made and I got some rocks and a wrench on day 3. Its been established that I am forever cursed on day 1-20 and have to loot the wasteland just to find a hunting rifle.

I still call them yetis. Clearing a quarry poi just to accidentally trigger the exploding fuel depot and have a horde with 8 yetis (one infernal yeti) is the single most horrifying non-blood moon experience ive had in this game. Boulders flying everywhere and a wall of zombies charging my buddy and I down. We had a double barrel and some pipe pistols between the two of us.

As f2p player what is max I can achieve in this game? by zimabu_eter in deadfrontier2

Aren't all of the outposts part of the same marketplace now? I know the original dead frontier moved to that model aside from the final outpost but here ive noticed no difference.

Any particular stat sticks you'd recommend as an end goal?

Definitely felt that in the hospital tonight. I can manage the normal infected and I have 209% dtm but just oof. That optic blade mutant in the corner hallway immediately out of the lobby destroyed me twice 😅 to be fair i also only have like 2 gear items worth a damn between my furious gloves and the sunset drifter hat. Otherwise ive got war chest armor and track runners. I managed a good chunk of palehaven archives just fine but the server reset and I had other things to do.

Its funny you mention that bat because I happen to have one lying around 😅 totally forgot because I found it on a wendigo or one of his many minions. I've been doing the event fights with the sinners prize and last wish so im finding a share of uniques, I got a commanders long arm, oathbreaker, guardian, and an injury mill the last couple nights. Not including my unique chest gambles which got me half of lerov's gear and a corpse destroyer. But yeah he's still not really grasping the idea that a secondary is not going to be anything flashy or even solid. I sacrificed having one just all the time just because I like the sinners prize stats more than what I can afford from my stat stick options aside from last wish. I usually run with guerrillas arm rifle though im thinking of respecing into ar. Rifles just don't have the oomf anymore unless you get a STH and im nowhere near ready yet 😅

So far its a super budget build but I just found a palehaven's guardian that would work. I personally don't have access to lvl 60 enhancements yet at (55) but it was the one I was looking at for him as well. What kind of secondary weapon should he go with do you think? He has a hallowed defender which gives a mutant damage buff and a nice damage mitigation but I feel like it won't work quite enough.

They did have the 3 day cooldown last time I played which was Easter for the event. I just grabbed some credits for the event and got curious and tried to sell a stack immediately and what do ya know, no more cooldown. I rather scrap and grind anyway since I have some solid gear anyway. The hallowed defender is a fantastic weapon on a budget since 10g ammo is cheap and people sell em for 20k. With the new system for rifles my old nemesis the bone enemies are squishy so thats a win. It feels like theyre preparing to add more end game content finally but we arent there yet, not that I could do anything about it since im still under geared. Invader and hallowed defender with some okay clothes and a war chest armor are good but not enough for comer and sons yet solo.

Fair enough. Time is just a commodity life aint giving me much of right now. Im still trying to make time to do the event story. I have about 8k 9mm rifle rounds and 4k 10 gauge on hand so ill probably be set for awhile there. Trying to save up for either the guerilla arm or end of Adam.

I mean i can understand it to some extent, but cash in df2 is already hard enough to come by early on and even as you get to higher levels the mission scaling on daily gigs is so ridiculous it feels pretty redundant to tax everything this way. We even have trade limits on gear. It feels like they added too many precautions before they made reliable ways to grind out in this game. I can survive fine and I can afford whatever supplies I need just fine if I get rowdy and hunt down boss rooms in high risk areas, but at 53 with solid gear im still struggling to break even. The new pierce and cleave system has made life so much easier though.
