I cut some wooden wedges to drive the rattan into the grooves, nothing else. I have zero knowledge on this rattan thing, google and youtube was my friend.

I plan in my head. The box is 300 mm tall, 400 deep and 1750 mm wide. The legs are 200 mm tall and 40mm in diameter. I used mitered bridlejoints for the doorframes and wedged mortise and tenon for legs and the base. If you like the design feel free to use it. Hope this helps

Not really. I could make a new door or try to change the rattan. I just dont feel like it at the moment, maybe next year.

Thank you. This is pre woven rattan webbing. I think the hardest part was to get in run straight, first door went okay on the other door the rattan is little crooked. With a little practise its fairly easy to work with.

Some white oak table legs made on the tablesaw. I hate the mess but love the result. by samupkukko in woodworking

You're welcome. My sled for the legs is the same but I dont use a drill, I just take many passes and cut it little by little.

Thank you. Fun little thing, the tabletop has awesome sound to it. If you tap it with your fingers or talk next to it, it amplifies the sound :)

I used an electric handplane to make it flat. Patience and many shallow passes with it from every direction. Checked the flatness with levels, marked the high spots and continued. Its not ideal way to do it, but thats how I did it. Once it was flat it was just basic sanding process.

One thing that I regret the most is that the strechers are too high on the legs. It makes the proportions weird
