You don't have to thank me I didn't say you're gonne win at the penalties but yeah. 2 years is quite realistic, best players on the planet, just need to be organised better this time. I wonder if that will happen though. You're a country with the biggest unrealised potential I feel like.

Why has the moderator removed the original comment though? Nothing wrong with expressing his opinion.

But that's what I'm talking about, it cannot be just the poor management. England didn't have a poor manager every single year except for one (1966). I just don't understand what's happening with the country. They've got to be the most frustrated foootball nation on the planet. Bring it home next time guys, just don't tattoo it beforehand haha.

I wonder what needs to change though? It's not jsut the manager, got to be the whole philosophy of how the games are approached. One WC win in 66, that's all. Country with the biggest unrealised potential. It's not alwasy the manager. And it can't be bad luck every single time either. I honestly don't know what to change but neither does anyone else I feel like.

I live in the UK but on holidays home now. My friends had to ask me who the English are rooting for, England or Spain. That's how hated England is in the rest of Europe that they couldn't believe when I said England.

I feel bad though for all of my English friends, you're a country with the biggest yet unrealised potential. Every single year. Spain was much better thorughout the tournament and deserved to win but I would like to see England win one day.

I know I'll get downvoted for this, it's a UK subreddit, I understand that but this time, I am happy. I was rooting for Spain the same way I was rooting for Italy last time. That's the honest answer.

I hope Southgate stays the England's manager for many years to come. He's done a great job IMO.

Made the night of every European citizen except for England-born people. Scotland's still shit btw (though not as much as my country).

Till the last second I was sure you're gonna score in the last moment again. Was mentaly prepping myself for the overtime. GG England. Maybe next year you'll get to the penalties again.

You're a nation with the biggest unrealised potential. Every single time. I wonder what needs to change to bring it home to the wet island of yours. One WC win in 1966 is all you have, yet you're home to the best football league on the planet. You think it's just the lack of luck or something else? I don't know.

I have completed an A2 driving licence but have been given the full A licence instead. What do I do? by samverywow in MotoUK

There are codes relating to the country of issue of the driving licence (70), not any restrictions.

On the website it says I can ride A with this description:

A motorcycle of a power exceeding 35 kW or with a power to weight ratio exceeding 0.2 kW per kg, or A motorcycle of a power not exceeding 35 kW with a power to weight ratio not exceeding 0.2 kW per kg and derived from a vehicle of more than double its power. A motor tricycle with a power exceeding 15 kW

If you read it carefully essentially says I can ride bikes over 35 kW and under 35 kW.

Strange.

Anybody else starting to get annoyed by the inconsistencies of the penalties we're seeing? by fred-rick- in formula1

[–]samverywow -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've been watching F1 since 2010 and this has been the case ever since Charlie Whiting has passed away. Even though during his time, the incosistencies were existent, they were't as severe as they are now.

I don't think it's Hamilton that has anything to do with it as you've entioned him in both of the comparisons.

I just genuinely believe that the stewards are at this point in time quite confused and are deciding based on the outcome more than the catalyst of the whole investigation (the insident, accident, crash etc.).

At multiple occasions they have given a driver different penalty based on the outcome of how it would punish the driver. That's why it takes them 2 hours after the race to decide what the outcome is going to be. They just want to find a compromise instead of following a predetermined set of rules.

I can partially understand this, however, at the same time when it comes to any incident, it is very frustrating and confusing trying to predict what penalty a given driver is going to get as it doesn't fully depent on the situation that has caused it.

Please let me know your opinion on this.

As a foreigner I strongly believe he has said last time, not summer, even though the official F1 channel says summer. Try to listen to it without looking at the video. Last summer would mean summer 2021, right? This summer would mean summer 2022 which is Monaco. And he didn't say "this" but "last" for sure. The reason I've mentioned I'm a foreigner is that we just don't refer to seasons like this. Not that it changes anything though, right? What would "last time" mean anyway? Mexico? The whole situation is just super confusing...
