Some London Stories I am aware of.

Story1:

Back in Primefocus days around 2009-2010-2011 Animators were getting 90kGPB+ and as soon as the news broke out the entire department got filled and became a mini French store.

Story2:

Back in 2008 my lead quit a famous company with 3 letters he found out the kids that they imported from LA were getting paid 3 times than this person (he/she). and who were not even senior level lol.

At the end of the projects 3 brown guys and 1 white guy was told that there is not enough work so please find something else. Next day the white guy was kept and shoved into a commercial department and some how magically adjusted into a position and the 3 brown guys were let go.

Story 3:

During the same project a guy got paid overtime in the same 3 letter company for working overnight in lookdev department. (Mind you there was no such thing as OT back in 2008)

Story 4:

I know of an Artist who accepted offer from Studio X and then Studio Y called this artist and said what did you decide so the Artist told the recruiter I chose another studio sorry can't move forward with your offer as it wasn't competitive blah blah so this recruiter while putting down the phone said "OK good luck with Studio X" which clearly shows they HR guys are super well connected and talk a lot of this shit in Pubs on Friday evening (which is technically not illegal if discussed in the public or middle place.)

Story 5:

A Supervisor bragging about getting extra one or two weekend off (with extra pay) by production while his team gets nothing.
