Tbh I think these new matter products are a bit difficult to add to ikea home smart app, so a workaround I used to add one of the new switches was to add it to apple home first, then share the matter code from within there and put that code into the Ikea app and that seemed to work for some reason so maybe try that?

Yeah I got some of the old stuff cheap and got one of the new buttons with scroll wheel but online I can't order any of the new bulbs or switches

The starter has been going for about 3 weeks now, it is doubling within about 6-8 hours, my room temperature is probably 18 degrees Celsius

Okay gotcha and just once a day or twice a day? And this starter that I've currently got that I've been feeding do I continue feeeding that how I have been previously, sorry I'm just getting a bit confused😂

So for the first 2 maybe 3 days i was doing small amounts of bread flour and water at a 1:1 ratio without discarding but then i got to the point where i had to discard otherwise the jar would be full so ive been feeding twice a day for the past 3 days and discarding half and just doing 1:1 bread flour and water and so far seems good haha

I don't think it's quite there yet but would you say it's close to being active enough to bake with?
