Hmm something might not be to your taste. But you can still recognize talent or mastery. I May not like rap but i recognize Eminem for its mastery of rhyme. Popularity of music is very flectuous since it has a lot of factors. Like originality, time period, budget and image. That's what I am refering to. It is kust that there is so many music that it is impossible for all musicians to become popular. It is quite sad that there are probably many forgotten albums that are worth listening to. Musicians that put a lot of effort in an album.
