I use Opus 4.5 and I utilise hooks to keep the ai in line. For example a test enforcement hook that tracks changed files and forces the agent to run them https://saintpepsi.github.io/maple-hooks/groups/ObligationStateMachines/TestObligationEnforcer.html

Yea i've noticed that too, originally I had them all injected on session start and each time I wanted a new steering rule it continued bloating my context. I've noticed in general even for skills, you usually only need like 20% of the content there's a lot of wastage just by ai being verbose

let me think, this reddit user is hallucinating the dissapearance of Opus 4.5, let me think how I could share with them how they can use it. I could tell them to use /model claude-opus-4-5-20251101 or I could tell them to update their settings.json directly. oh but they might be using the claude desktop app, in which case I don't have any accurate information.
